Fessi: According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds have given up any hope of signing Fernando Forestieri from Watford, after being priced out of a move for the 25-year-old. The Yorkshire-based club had hoped to agree a deal for Forestieri before the close of the transfer window, with Watford expected to sell him. The attacking midfielder has failed to be included in either of Quique Sanchez Flores’ matchday squads for the opening two games of the Premier League campaign, and there are doubts about his place in the 25-man selection that must be made at the end of the transfer window. The Whites[/a] were reportedly looking to move for him, as Uwe Rosler targets another attacking reinforcement, but any deal looks dead in the water. Leeds wanted a loan deal with the option to sign Forestieri permanently at the end of the season, but the Hornets are reluctant for that kind of transfer. It is believed a loan deal without the option to purchase him is favoured, to ensure Forestieri receives consistent football after a tough season of injuries last term, but can still break into the Watford side in the future. If the Hornets were to sell him outright, they would be looking for a transfer fee which Leeds cannot afford. Whilst it appears as if Leeds have pulled out of a deal, there is one Championship side still hoping to sign the attacking midfielder before the end of the transfer window, with the same report claiming Sheffield Wednesday want him. The Owls have strengthened well this summer, but remain keen on signing Forestieri, and believe they will be able to complete a deal in the coming days.
I think now you will see us looking for 500k + for loans from clubs as a fee. We got that for Belkelem last year so I think 3 or 4 of our players will be out on loan earning for us.
Couldn't the club change Lloyd Dyer's name by deed poll and sell him on a free transfer (if that's technically possible) as Fernanda Forestieri, cos 'e's a big jessie.

Apparently there is great excitement in Leeds as they had given up on ever getting any decent players...
What sort of player is he? Really don't know much about him. I know he's an attacking player but other than that I'm very limited in my knowledge. He doesn't seem like a proper goalscorer looking at his stats but we need a bit of spark in the final third more than anything.
I really think it is madness to sell either of them ( Vydra & Forestieri). Loans that we can recall them in January (if required) at the most. These 2 should be in our 25 - They have real pace & tricks + Vydra has finishing touch - we need Plan B players.
