Viv Akauldren - I'll Call You Sometime LP with Ltd edition EP inside released in 1987 but found in Disc Discovery a couple of years back. Great overlooked proggy psych rock trio from Detroit area. Delectable female drummer as well.
I agree on the sentiment of the OP. Why would you not want a physical copy? It's just so much better than an mp3 version.
Zepp III. Picked it up at Relics Records, New Briggate, Leeds 3 years ago. A birthday present for an English mate of mine, living over here, as it was the only Zep vinyl album he didn't have. I wasn't gonna give him mine - he's not that big a mate - thought I had a spare copy at my sister's place back in Hull. I think she's tossed it out after 40 years - taking up space FFS. Irony. the copy I brought back for him had been a pressing in Toronto ! He did thank me though, tight bastard, tight **** didn't even buy me a beer.
I bought the new Mumford and Sons album about 4 weeks ago. It's still in the wrapper in my door pocket.
An Andy Irvine LP on Tara (Irish pressing) and a small press LP by the Heversham Jazzmen on Deroy, both from a second hand shop in Bowness last week. Not played either yet. Also pre-ordered new Foolish Atoms (Hull band) album on blue vinyl.
Do you still get picture disks? I mean new releases, I know you can get hold of old stuff, I remember it being very exciting when they first came out. I lost all mine somewhere down the line.

Yes, though not many these days. There's a series of Bowie 7" picture disc reissues that seems to be never-ending.
Just clearing out the loft and found around 100 Lp's mostly 80's stuff like New Order. Are there any local record shops that buy vinyl ?
