If Tim Howard was a horse he'd be put down a long time ago.

    Game over everton fell asleep.

Everton can say they gave city the work and effort but they lacked shape and real danger.

City took off the pace and looked half the side it must be said

City look a solid team. Defended and attacked both very well and have had now pretty much the perfect start to the season.

Saints drew 0-0, failed to score in 2 games in a row now at home to Everton and away to Watford.

Has this summers loses just been the on Ernst broke the camels back?

Yup. Though they are not up to full tilt yet I think.. more to come upfront but silva is imperious so far.

Fernandinho and kompany are fully fit and playing very well.

    Navas looks in form too.

Sauna looks the only real weak link

if that's his form then he should be dropped. lots of running but made no chances and looked poor to me.

He played 3/4 in first half that could easily be assists.

He ran everton ragged down that wing all day. Destroyed the kid.

Sterling pinned Coleman back but only found one pass that silva got unlucky on.

I think i agree with Rorsch. That was a very typical Navas performance, he always has it in his locker to skinning players but he cannot put a cross in to save his life or finish. He had 2, 1 on 1's, countless crosses to no one (1 made it through to aguero) and he could have played aguero in for a tap in but didnt.

In the first half he did. He can't put in a typical cross but with Aguero in you don't want him to. He likes to cut the ball back or tried firing it along the floor which is what he'll be told to do with Aguero, sterling and silva in support.
