Excellent mate, needed to come off about the 60 minute mark as he was ****ed. performance went down hill from there which is understandable given he could barely stand up. He's next level no doubt, and his fitness will come quicker playing full 90s. The people who wrote him off because of an incident in a reserve game they never ****ing saw will feel silly and it will only prove their willingness to panic and eagerness to put players down, point the finger and raise as much negativity as humanly possible shows it's them with the ****ing problem. M'Vila will prove my point about the disruptive unhealthy element of support this club really has.
btw, have we already seen the worst away following we're going to get for 3pm Sat kick off this season. please log in to view this image
I'd be more concerned about an impending fourth in a row relegation battle than taking the piss, guys. Two shots on goal at home isn't promising is it?
Ah. So the ones that hit Williams on the hand or were deflected even though they're on target don't matter? Stats don't always tell the whole story! 2 shots on target officially but there were another three not including the one that Williams handled. Your support is ****e. Not taking the piss but it is awful. We fill every away following but you bring a couple of cars full
I'm not taking the piss. It was a serious observation. I've got an interest in traveling fans. Who are quiet, who are loud, who bring numbers, who don't bother, what the banter with them was like in the bars around the ground and outside the stadium. People discuss these things, don't take it so personally if people observe you've got a poor away following. As for solely concentrating on a relegation battle. It would make me a pretty one dimensional character don't you think? There's more to life than fixating on a single problem and becoming a depressive, repetitive bore. It seems to be many peoples bag but it's not mine. But if you'd put yourself in that category fair dos, I'd be more concerned about how I dull I was rather then going to neighboring boards to bite at genuine, inoffensive observations.
No offence because I know you have been one of the more sensible ones on here the last 2 days but I took a relative of mine who goes to about 10 games per season and she was asking why there were no away fans - I said there were some in the top corner. The problem was she could not see them for the iron girder which holds the roof up on the East stand. I must admit I was a bit shocked as well because you usually bring a canny following
Pleased with yesterdays performance. It had the passion and desire we need. Still would have brought on Watmore before Fletcher. Defoe through the middle with Lens and Watmore either side. I think these three can do some serious damage if we keep the ball on the carpet. The lad M'Vila I think is going to be a cracking player and at times Lens was on fire. Just a 2 to 3 quality signings in the next week and I think we should have a good season. This week I would come to an agreement with Fletcher and Graham to terminate there contracts. Come to a negotiated settlement and move on. We have to make sure these signings are a thing of the past.....
You look on the Swans website. Sunderland normally bring about a 1000 when the away allocation is 2000. Best away fans are normally Arsenal who always fill their end and are always noisy. Worst are Everton and Newcastle.
"Sunderland always bring one of the lowest away followings to the Liberty" That's what YOU said now back it up ffs"
