If people are hoping to lose Huddlestone, when Bruce plays him every game and doesn't want to lose him, what does that say about people's confidence in Bruce?
That was because we brought the subs on, and that should happened much earlier, same on as in some other games.
So he's ****ing about picking a side he knows is weaker than our best just to advertise players? Nah.
You're not in good form this weekend PLT, he most definitely is in the shop window, Bruce has been telling all and sundry about him for weeks and now he's going to be stuck with a player who is not fit for purpose if we want to progress as a team
So you genuinely believe Bruce is picking a team that he doesn't think is the strongest? If so, that doesn't look great on Bruce does it?
If that's his display in the shop window we're going to be stuck with him till the end of his contract.
If Huddlestone leaves it's because a bigger club comes in for him. If you think he shouldn't be playing at all then focus on that and who is making that decision, rather than hoping for the decision to be taken out of his hands.
He's gambled on him going and getting the funds for other players and it's backfired on him thats for sure, but one thing is for certain he has been flagging up his availability and it's no big surprise to me that nobody wants him and we are stuck with him. Bruce needs to man up and drop him to the bench if he stays past the window otherwise I will be joining the Bruce outers
Everyone wanted Hayden on yesterday but after the Wolves game he was written off by many or at least felt to be a long way way off being a starter.
There's definitely too much knee-jerking going on with Hayden - one minute people want to send him back, the next he's the messiah. He made a few mistakes against Wolves and needs to learn from them - indeed, perhaps he already has. He's now had two productive sub appearances, suggesting he could be a very useful player.
I think Bruce deserves more of the blame for his poor performances. Doesn't play him in the right position and doesn't give him the correct tactics.
If a team comes in for Huddlestone it will be a great thing for us, he has no impact in the team and every player, who plays along side him looks rubbish too. The sooner Huddlestone is gone the better! I agree we shouldn't single players out and damage there confidence but it's starting to take the piss now. Ive got to the stage now, where I don't think it's ever going to happen for him here. And a move would be best for all concerned!
Simple brucie drop all the lethargic cant be arsed players, oh wait you struggle to drop players who are out of form or cant be arsed its why we got relegated
The tempo we play at when we have the ball has been a problem for some while now, when we get the ball, we wait for the opposing team to get back into position before we go forward, and I'm afraid Hudds the main culprit, we use to be brilliant hitting teams on the counter attack a few seasons back, we now tend to play a lot of hoof ball, kick and hope football, I'm hoping that the arrival of Maloney might put some energy and skill back in the midfield area.
