Wants to get into Sports TV production - she had 2 weeks at Wimbeldon with NBC and just loved it. Got on really well with this girl about the same age as her - just happens that her dad is the top man in NBC!

KA are very bad. They lost 0:2 at home to the team in last position. Defeat in the next game visiting ÍR and KA could be last.

    I need <ale>

Being able to post a single thread to many forums
I've just actioned some developers to develop this functionality for us.

These are the key requirements I set:
As a poster, I browse to the forum I want to post in. I 'Post new thread' in the standard manner. I have the option on the script 'newthread.php' to select one or more extra forums to add this thread to.
Once the thread is created 'forumdisplay.php' will display all threads which have been linked to those forum pages. These threads on all forums, including the master, will be sorted in 'time of last post' order (as is the current setting).
On 'showthread.php' the top navigation hierachy will also now show the additional forums which are attached to this thread.
Only one thread will be created, all links will be to the same thread ID which will keep user number of posts etc the same.
In real terms what this will mean is that if you post the thread in the Newcastle board, and want to say also post it in the Sunderland board, only the Newcastle Moderator will have moderation rights over it. The development would be far too complicated and expensive if went into all the little niche issues like this, unfortunately the thread will have to be reported to Syd or myself if the moderators between the boards can't agree on whether a thread goes or not.

There will also be issues whereby your user history will show the thread as belonging to the original board it was posted in and not all boards, again these niche issues would make the development too big.

Thats the gist of it Ak ;)

It sounds ok and will improve the match threads.

As someone who posts alot on these threads a greater improvement would have been to remove the refresh necessity every time you write something

How is the bar in the hotel Norway? I noted that it is a week long trial. Does this mean that you are behind it, or that they are seeing how much you can drink and spend in a week. ;)

H your points have been noticed , all I can say is see how how the match threads pan out and see what happens when and if we get an app update!!

Back from the quiz then H. How did it go, did you win? The last one that I did was in Dorset and Mme, two friends and me won. We even beat people who had appeared on Eggheads.

Right, big decision tonight. I have gone for chocolate instead of Horlicks. I have an early start tomorrow and don't need to sleep too soundly.

I just hate alarm clocks these days. :(

I associate them with French lessons. ;)
