Two goals and two assists from a player who should really be in a premiership side but prepared to be professional enough to put a shift in albeit in his own shop window. Class bloke not many like him around, I think he's better than what most on here give him credit for. Some proper armchair footballers on here
Is it not beyond the bounds of possibility that an overseas side might put in a bid for Charlie, say PSG or similar ? Lots of talk about PL sides but no foreign mention at all.
'I beg your pardon all over the place' I just think Austin is better than what most think on here, of course he's no Aguero but the dedication he has put in to be where he is now is testament to his character as a professional footballer in times where most of them are complete egotistic tools!. My opinion of course. EDIT. It will be a huge loss for us if/when he leaves
his work rate definitely can't be faulted. He gets back, defends, the whole lot. I thought first half he was relatively quiet (the goal aside) but the whole team was a bit lacklustre up to that point to be fair. Second half he (and the team) were much better.
Swords didn't see the game, so he has an excuse, but I'm surprised that anyone who did see the game could think that.
He just came across disinterested. Not saying we can read into it but he wasn't his usual self. Maybe he was hot
When we can't keep a clean sheet having someone like Austin who does find the net is vital & will be a huge loss if he leaves particularly as I don't see that we have a replacement lined up.
Don't see Hooper getting enough goals, Gayle would be ok but how much will Palace hold out for knowing how desperate we'd be. Also Rhodes would be too expensive & don't think would make the step up if we do ever get back up. Gray would have been good but losing out on players is what happens when business is being done at the back end of the transfer window.
