The slating of Haidara is a joke. He was cracking today. Partly because Perez protected him so much better than Obertan has in the past two games.

At least five or 6 times today Obertan was just ball watching leaving Mbemba up against Shaw and Depay. Given the lack of support he got I thought Mbemba was decent today.

Each defender deserves at least a rating of 8, we've just gone to old trafford and they had one clear cut chance and that was down to a lucky deflection off Taylor.

Just watched the game again ang i agree haidara did very well as he did against Swansea. Obertan was dreadful and colback too but can't blame him for effort he put in a shift.

thought perez was a star today ... had no support was so ever but still looked good .. mitro is the answer upfront strong tidy needs service .. did not like the way we backed off at the end ... better today but one game does not make a season ..

Just trying to be honest and looking past the joy of the result. Its a great point given how we have looked but anyone thinking that defence is ok now is kidding themselves. Man U were a bit toothless. I couldn't really see what they were trying to do, Colo and Saylor were largely unoccupied - which is criminal after recent evidence, its almost as if they hadn't bothered scouting us.

The first 15min they had intent and were willing to commit - they were lethargic thereafter. I still think Colo gets bullied too easily. Haidara - better than he has been but the bar was just incredibly low. He was not good by any stretch.

I hope I'm wrong and we can tighten up for a few games, but today was nothing we haven't seen under before under our last manager.

Have to say though we have begun the process. Mbemba, Mitrovic and Gini all look a better class than our current players. I have high hopes for all 3. Thauvin - who knows. If we can shift Willo and get a couple of defenders in then we could have a decent season. That Guerreiro would be nice to see. Obvious concern would be lack of high class English players. Difficult though when Chelsea are shelling 30m plus on Stones!

I fancy us for a draw. I think our lot will struggle with Giroud and their pace. Equally though their centre backs won't like Mitro. Of course if Schteve would see fit to get Aarons on for Overrun it would help.

Think Haidara is starting to show an improvement. Looked okay today. I can't be objective about Obertan because I've watched him flabble around for so many years now. And one swallow (o-err missus) a summer does not make.

    Thauvin looks decent too.

Edit because rum & saturday night

So you are happy with the number of goals 35 million buys ?

Can't help but think when it comes to derby time it will be " Dick in for the sixth time " for Newcastle

Thought of the day - how come our best performance since Steve took over happened without Sissoko in the starting line-up.....

mitro does seem to be the player we need a reet handful. We need to supply him and feed the beast.... tbh seen nothing of the game as I'm away up the coast on a break but when I seen the result after eventually getting a WiFi connection I was over the ****ing moon.

Very impressive display albeit against a lacklustre man u. Your right back looked very poor on the ball. Man u only had Memphis delay that looked like doing anything and even then he gave a frustrated performance.

First 20 minutes all over the shop, lucky to have an onside goal ruled out. Could have been a different afternoon. But you pulled together.

Question is though, can you perform as well when you aren't such underdogs? Well see.

It was offside very slightly but i didn't rate our performance very highly. Manchester United simply aren't very good.
