I'm not scapegoating him. I thought he played well against Fulham when he came on. Unfortunately, today, he was terrible.

Perhaps you need to let go of your man crush and admit that today he was garbage.

Really poor in game management today. When you get to 1-1 all with injury time to play the team should be managing the game out to secure that point. We weren't very good at this previously and we still don't seem to have learnt in a lower league. Very disappointing. Not taking anything away from Charlton, they sounded like top 6 material today.

Crap, they conceded from the over flank after a Dawson error. We had no options as Robertson had a below par game

Saturday, 3pm. What a cunning plan. Defend the first half - throw in a bit of meaningless pretty passing in your own half and hope for the best. Don't venture too far into the opposition's half because the coach has no idea what to do at that end of the pitch (apart from lobbing the ball in from the wings). Remember, we'll settle for a point.

Sorry to hear it was a bit hot out there today Steve. Lets hope it cools off a bit next week.

Better to get this sort of display out of the way now rather than at the end of the season. The wake up call could be a good thing.

charlton were garbage, we were just worse. You're man Meyler was an embarrassment to a conference player. Huddlestone was a big lump that can't move. The only players with any credit are Aluko (who actually tries too mix it up) Hernandez and hayden. Moses and Elmo were dire. Hope Maloney can change it up and fingers crossed Diame stays as those oafs are shocking (cm)

    When he came on?? <laugh>
He was poor today but was he as bad as Dawson who ****ed up completely for two goals. Or Davies who was at fault too and pnderous on the ball. Was he as **** as Huddlesont who was **** and subbed. Was he as bad as Robertson who let their player just amble down the line and put a cross in unopposed. Who hit his man every time he attempted a cross? Dont even mention Odubajo or Elmo who stunk the place out. Akpom?? Totally ****ing anonymous.
Nah its all Meylers fault he's ****.
Meyler was poor today but no ****ing way was he the worst player on the pitch

A lot of hissy fitting. Didn't go today as I'm still in Berlin but sounded like a poor effort. Shame really, when I saw Charlton had loads of players out I was quite optimistic, but it would seem our strength in depth is costing us. Nice to hear praise for Abel and good to seem him get on the score sheet.

Play the kids against Rochdale and get through the final game before the international break. Reminds me of our first season under Pearson post relegation, cause for optimism then defeat brings reality.

If Diame is back and fit that's like a new signing and hopefully he will feature in the Cup. We aren't going to get rid of any big hitters if theyre gonna be ****e, the only other option I can think of to free up cash is to offer Jelavic a mutual contract termination if he doesn't want to be here, he gets a lump sum and we can use his wages elsewhere.

    How did Meyler do today?

Pfft, I'd give him a five year deal on £80,000-a-week.

Akpom and Jelavic for an hour had nothing to feed off. Moses and Elmo had no options but to force long balls. Huffs and Meyler slop around like slugs in sand absolutely inept. It is so obvious what our problem is. if you're not playing well at least put some effort in.
