Not often that Eriksen misses out and the media will be onto that like a ****. I hope that Lamela's playing centrally, at least. N'Jie's fitness levels can't be that bad, so his omission is just silly, for me.
I'm not sure why we are so reluctant to put new signings in, he's just signed for a new club he would be massively up for it, get him involved.
He wasn't involved in our pre- or post-season tours though, so he'll be jealous of everyone else's air miles and his fitness levels will be too high.
Personally I would have liked to have seen Lloris Walker Toby Verts Davies Alli Bentaleb Mason Pritchard Kane Chadli With Clint coming off the bench to apply his (hopefully) exuberant debutant brand of pacey trickery. Mainly because I dislike Dembele in this team and don't rate Dier as a DM at all. But I understand why others would view that side as suicide away to a Leicester team in a good run of form. I'd just really like to see the youngsters have a proper go though, thought realistically I'm probably going to have to wait for the EL or a cup game to see it.
Ben Davies is getting so much space down the left in these early stages. He needs to speed things up a bit when he gets it though, as he's slowing things down at the moment.
