Two darts at the big handicap for me. Bit of a lottery race so no doubt a 100/1 winner emerges! York 3.45 Clondaw Warrior 6/1 & Wicklow Brave 11/1 Both backed each way and I really wouldn't be surprised should Wicklow prove the best today. He blatantly didn't stay at Royal Ascot. I wonder what price he'd be if he hadn't went there? Crafty Tony Martins Quick Jack looks the likely party spoiler for Mr Mullins.
Get over to the league comp thread too lads, Cyc has it set up and it will run every Saturday. May as well join In the friendly competition, the more the merrier
Sir Prescott interestingly sends a horse over to Killarney in the last, been smashed in the betting but can still get 5/6 surely printing money
York way too tough for me today so will go for Kevin Ryan's Mukaynis (6/1) in the first at Chester (13:50). Will need things to drop his way in this sprint, but wasn't far behind Ballesteros LTO.
This is the kind of horse I like to back in these races anyway. Good form prior to lay off, debut for new yard etc Good luck and thanks for sharing.
Could possibly have too much speed for the field but Lots Of Memories has achieved a far better level albeit in a different sphere to High Secret and is also interesting In this sort of race.
Hanseatic looks another interesting runner and potential plot in the 4:55, very very good form as a 2 year old for Gosden, moved to Easterby, had too runs this season been pretty poor, entered in a tougher race today and got £3 at 33s this morning was i backed the last 2 runs this season, and it's now into 14s and shortening, 12s in places
Great ride by Barry aboard Exxaro...lost his irons jumping the 2nd last, lost the lead and then jumped the last and got his mount up to score well. Decent animal on good ground that Exxaro.
Geraghty will have sore nuts after that. The lads will be watching the next race at the Curragh closely I suspect ........................... Well done on Ballesteros Mick, your mate is well under par for the week
****ing green light, had it in a treble for £575 then it typically misses the break and blows it's chance, had about 6 trebles in the last week, first 2 won then the 3rd always loses, wish i cashed out
Oddy, Did you watch the Wednesday game? It's the first time I've seen a full match of them this season and I have to say I'm not too impressed. Before the game I'd have been quite happy with a point away at the ****s.. I mean Leeds but after watching the game I'm bloody exstatic with a point. Wednesday were so negative and never looked at all dangerous, they only scored due to a piece of brilliance from Matias. They seemed set up with the mind set of 'right lads let's keep Leeds out'. I know it's early days, new manager 11 new players to integrate and all that but I'm not very optimistic about the season. They were shocking midweek against Reading aswell.
O'Donnell the new Spencer. I haven't got any time for jockeys who hold their horse up last/last but one and then rather than look to come outside, go inside to a wall of 8 or 9 horses. Beggars belief. Unlucky Stick.
It would have been so easy turning in to bring him round the field but oh no let's try to weave our way through, idiot jockey but no worse than the last time. When he gets a good ride he will bolt up!
