Neymar Messi and Suarez are the main men. I doubt Pedro got in ahead of them at all when all were fit.

I would agree but the fact that he made 35 league appearances for them last season would suggest that he was more than just a bench warmer. Again, not sure how many appearances he made from the bench, but generally speaking, unless there are a lot of injuries, a "fringe" player would not appear in almost every game in a season.

Barcelona play a lot of games. He barely started a handful of games. In most games he played in he came in in the second half to keep Suarez Neymar and Messi fit for their next game.

We have too many players that are similar to Pedro. Pedro is an attacking midfielder that can be a No. 10. A position that is flushed with many players at United. What we need first and foremost is a 25 goal/season player. That is what would enhance the current squad.

They play 38 league games a season, same as every team in La Liga.
He made 35 LEAGUE appearances, 6 in the Copa Del Rey and 9 in the CL last season.

Yup that pedro, he's terrible, he's only got a record of 127 Starts, 54 appearances with 58 goals. So 1 in 3 for a winger.

Also except for last year, he's always been a regular starter but you know he's not got the class of rooney or depay who would be starting over a messi or a suarez or a neymar.

Much better to play that Juan Mata with his 1 goal in 4 (262 (38) appearances, 76 goals).

Or maybe its because Pedro doesn;t have a big mop head and a 1 in 8 record to lob the ball upto.

You can't compare goal scoring record in EPL to Spanish league where team run out 5-0 every weekend. This is a hard knock league and every player that has played in EPL agrees. There is no way Ronaldo or even Messi would score 60+ goals in one season in Premier League.

If that was the case why are players like mata michu van nistelrooy and suarez have similar strike ratios between the two leagues when its far easier to score in one country than the other. Likewise diego costa and aguero actually have much better scoring ratios in the so called much harder to score pl than la liga.

It works both ways I'm afraid and I'm sure if real madrid and barca played in the pl they would trounce most of the teams here to.

I really think they would get a nasty shock in the premier league. They would win the FA and League cups without question, but in the league they would have 19 other teams actually expecting to compete against them each week not just one or two.

In all honesty i think they would find it harder not because of the quality difference but because of the way our referees allow a more physical game. However even in the champions league where the creme de la creme play you still see barca and real smashing teams whilst english clubs never do even when we were dominating (maybe the 1 time was united against roma). Other than that we have been struggling recently. Case in point ronaldo was 1 in 3 at united (admittedly not at his peak). Ronaldo and messi are still 1 in 1 strikers in europe. That tells me a story in itself.

I understand what you are saying, but the Champions League is still a cup game where levels can be raised. In the Premier League, regardless of the quality of the team, they are at you every single game week in week out. They don't get that in La Liga.

I think the Barca and United reject will have a tougher time in the premiership. There was less pressure in Spain coming off the bench and with 10 better players around him, of course he will score. In fact I am surprised he hasn't scored more.

He was much more of a first team player getting a lot of playing time until last season where he came off the bench a lot more due to the 3 players you mentioned. He's a very creative player who will chip in with goals, he'll be a good addition to Chelsea and certainly improves your attacking options.

He certainly should have been on in place of Rooney.
