Well Stoke have just rejected a bid for Jon Walters. So that is 3 rejections for a striker Norwich have had. Norwich know they can have Jelly and for how much. GET IT DONE NOW FFS DELIA.!!!!!
So it's finally the end of that then. I honestly think this is a big mistake. I get that the Allams don't want to be stuck with too many strikers if none of them are shifted but when you look at the scenarios I see it as a much bigger risk to let him go elsewhere. A) We buy him but nobody is sold, we spend an extra £10 million including wages but have by far the best forward line in the division and can rotate players when tired/injured. We are promoted comfortably and any expense is dwarfed by the riches of the Premier League B) We don't buy him and then lose both Jela and Hernandez on the final day, we are left with Akpom as the only striker in our squad and have little chance of promotion The huge increase in the value of being in the Premier league makes this the most important year ever in terms of getting yourself promoted, and IMO the Allams are being too cautious which could really cost us
Gray Rhodes Long Austin Fraiser Campbell Why are our transfer negotiations to sign decent players (especially strikers) always so protracted. We often spend a whole window preparing the ground for more decisive clubs to nip in and get the player.
It can/should go the same way as Brizzle. At least Gray is closer to Hull if in Burnley. Hijack Alert Hijack Alert.
