Very true, in fact that 1st loss means we can't really afford to lose another for a minimum of the next 6-8 games.
Hoping that loss causes us to replicate the first half of the 2013/14 season for our first half of the season then we replicate the second half of the 2014/15 season for our second half to this season.
Battle of the meltdowns! Who ever loses, their board is going to go crazy with manager out threads.... although even if we win 4-0 with Lallana scoring 3 and setting up the other will still probably get the same threads
I think most of the Wenger out stuff has died down, there are those who think he should have gone long ago and still stick to that, but there's rarely any meltdown's about the manager after games now. Wenger isn't going anywhere, at least for a couple of seasons. Rodgers on the other hand ......
This is a tough game for us. We don't tend to get a result at your place, you guys have already lost one at home, and we are still bedding in a few players. If Milner and Hendo really show their energy and grab the midfield and Couts gets on the ball then we may have some joy. 0-8 Liverpool.
Nothing to suggest he's out. I'm sticking to my opinion that we need a 3 man midfield against you lot or we'll get battered.
****ing hate Monday night games, feels like an age over the weekend when all the other games are being played.
Me too. ****ing can't stand it. Also it puts the pressure on if any of our rivals win. I know SKY now dictate the fixture list, and call me old fashioned but I liked it when all teams kicked off at 3:00pm on a Saturday (with the odd, lunchtime and 5:30pm KO)
No more Mr Nice Wenger.... Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who made an unsuccessful £40,000,001 bid for Suarez in 2013, says he feels no sympathy towards Rodgers for having to deal with the loss of two key attacking talents in consecutive summers. Wenger said: "Liverpool are in a position where they can make their own decisions. They refused to sell us Suarez, so I cannot feel too much sympathy for them." Just read an interesting line about Ozil from the palace game, he had a 98% pass completion rate including 10 crosses, 5 chances created and an assist. He was on great form last season and hopefully he continues it through into tonight's game.
Ozil is simply top class. He not a Sanchez 'die to win' type of player, but his contributions are every bit as important.
Another interesting couple of stats for the ozil haters and giroud haters lol Olivier Giroud's next Premier League appearance will be his 100th. The Frenchman has scored 42 goals in 99 league games for the Gunners - only Thierry Henry (59), Ian Wright (56) and Emmanuel Adebayor (44) scored more in their first 100 league appearances for the club. Mesut Ozil misplaced just one of his 55 passes against Crystal Palace and has averaged 3.61 chances created per game in the Premier League in 2015 - a higher ratio than any other player.
Screw Adebayor.....As for Henry and Wright, they helped us win titles and make history, so that's what Giroud needs to do, step up and be counted when it matters and drive us to glory, all good saying only Henry-Wright ahead in their first 100 games, but let's look at what they did overall for us, which is help us win titles, and in the case of henry consistently score 30 plus goals a season.
