    As a dad of twin 16yr old girls I'd second that. Weird day strung out between two different schools as they got their (thank god good) results. Oh the relief. I can stop treading on eggshells now.

    I did O Levels when they were GCEs (and CSEs were a separate qualification). I'm wondering if there are any on here who did School Certificate?

    I did my A Levels in 1984. I believe it was the year with the lowest pass rate ever. Every year from then until 2013 results improved as children obviously got smarter every year.

    Well, i finally got around to watching Mad Max: Fury Road. What an exhilarating, ludicrous experience <laugh>.

    Yes, the plot is tissue paper thin and the ending a foregone conclusion from the get go, but the visuals and practical effects are genuinely astonishing and the movie actually did a good job of world building while keeping a high tempo, it was great mindless fun in my (very late) opinion...It also offended masculinist ****wits the world over, which is always a good sign.

    PS. That doof warrior guy is easily the most awesome thing i have ever seen which is worth a few bonus points.

    Switched on TV at three this morning and saw Murray about to lose in Cincinatti. He was 5-2 down in final set...he won 7-5. Exciting game.
