Morning all, bright and sunny here, which is expected to stay throughout the day. It is quite noticeable how the evenings are already becoming shorter with daylight being reduced by 4 minutes nearly every day.
Sæl öll. Tea and coffee, donuts and fruit are on the bar. Half and half coffee for Brian Black coffee for Bragi
Morning all from an overcast St Helier. It was raining overnight, and I don't think it'll be long before it starts again. It'll be a bit of an anti-climax if most of the Test at the Oval is lost due to rain. I'm disappointed that Chris Rogers is retiring from international cricket after this match, as I think that someone who spent so many years at Middlesex shouldn't choose the Oval as the venue for their last Test.

Going to miss out this weekend as going up into the mountains for a bit of trip, to clear the mind and rejuvenate the soul. Hope I come back to 3 points from Liverpool´s feeder club. Enjoy the weekend all
Evening all. Day spent at Portsmouth Naval Dockyard...Victory, Mary Rose and HMS Warrior. Thoroughly recommend it as a fascinating place for a visit if you've never been. From a number of angles - historical, military and preservation techniques - it's hugely informative and well presented.
Good morning all from a cloudy and very warm Weston-super-Mare! Think I'll have a look at Banksy's "Dismaland" exhibition over the weekend! Have a good day! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-33999495
That was risky. You realise that press-ganging is still legal in Britain? Victory is still registered as a Royal Navy Ship in service - or was when I went there, but that was not long after Trafalgar.

Went to the Imperial War Museum yesterday. The WW1 exhibition is moving and excellent in equal measure.
Is Nelson still lying about on the Victory pretending he has been injured? Agreed an excellent day out, especially liked the Victory tour.
Still trying to dodge Hardy I expect! The tour is excellent...makes it clear the gun deck was not a place you'd wish to be during a sea battle.
