So they stick with us while we are in the third tier of the football league and now we are back in the Prem with the additional exposure that all advertisers crave for they walk away. How does that make sense?
The sponsorship came in as the club were on its knees, and Aviva had just ditched the Norwich Union moniker and a lot of jobs in the city too. A few years sponsorship when it was at it's cheapest probably seemed an easy way to get some kind of positive coverage in Norfolk. Now we're a buoyant club and looking to sell that prime real estate on the shirt for a decent sum, they probably don't see the same gains.
So true, my sis works for Aviva and thinks the whole organisation from top down are complete aresholes
Always liked having a Aviva as our sponsor, hopefully our next one won't be a firm with Chinese, Korean or Japanese text in some ****ty font which seem to be the rage in the Premiership at the moment.
