The facts do. I suggest you stop blaming the club for everything. Im balanced in my view, of we **** up I say so. If I feel weve been messed about as it appears, then theres no way I would blame the club.

It was reported last week that we had bid 28m euros plus 2. You should remember as you werw moaning about not paying the full price and haggling over a few million.

I then pointed out that it makes sense to haggle and you went off on one

Every one thought he was coming. Been the case for 3 weeks. Terms agreed and everything.

I think people for whatever reason believe arsenal have added more than just Cech.

For me they are in trouble if they don't spend some more money. Especially in defence.

 

Really expected Arsenal and Man United to have strengthened further by now - both needing a star striker.

That too for Arsenal. We need a goal scorer rather than an out and out striker as hes only ever going to be Rooneys understudy. Right or wrong.

you need a no 9.... what occurs when rooney gets an injury like he has done on a few occasions... misses 5/6 games? who plays up front? hernadez.... felliani?

 

We offered the 2m euro add ons as well. The money wasnt the issue, the player wasnt, someone was ****ing about making stupid excuses up as to why they needed him a few more days amd a few more days after that.

We had a big discussion on the United board over our 28m plus 2m euro offer. Theres little doubt we offered the same figures as Chelsea, who only pounced when we decided to leave it.

 

Not sure how interested United were but they've now missed on Pedro and Otamendi when these deals could and perhaps should have been done weeks ago,

If I was a United fan, I'd be annoyed because you did some really good business early on but so little since.

 

A 9 would have to be willing to sit on the bench most of the time. You name those players

 

Griezeman is quality and I wanted him when he was at Sociedad (we could have easily got him as well!).

But other than money, not sure why he would join - I think he has a better chance of winning/competing at At Madrid.

 

It's certainly annoying but not worth getting worked up over. Last week we went for Mane by all accounts so Pedro deal was already backed. Will we get Mane? Is he good enough? All questions we can debate for a few days.

I dont like signing players late in the window tbf so I remain happy with our business this summer. It takes some beating from any club.

Ed was either still on the plane to Barca on a mission to sign him or unpacking his case at the hotel when at the same time that Maureen and Mr and Mrs Fabregas were on the phone to him and persuading him to sign for Chelsea.

Purely the players choice of which of the clubs he signed for and he chose the Chavs, Ferguson used to go personally to meet the big name players he wanted to sign, the arrogant Dutch feller should have done similar with Pedro and maybe he'd have saved the wasted airfare on Woodenward.
