Man U are getting to see the other side to LVG the the latter half of the transfer window. Big name across Europe, not a great reputation.

In the end whatever the story is:

    1. the pedro story is funny

    2. It makes utd look really bad... mancs can debate with they ever wanted or needed etc but the fact is they look bad.

    3. Utd prob need to go back to offering 300k per week to get players.

with messi... yeah... in spain yeah.

no doubt a quality player but any better than mata who they tossed out for willian?

Cheslea work with hazard forward and aspeunspellable stuck back at LB, and ivanovic starting at half way but with willian running all over the place covering.

Cheslea will have to get another DCM in to play this i reckon

    Courtois
    Aspe (RB) Zouma Stones Rahman
    Matic Mikel
    Pedro Fabregas Hazard
    Costa
Really looks good in front doesn't it.... but.... mikel.... they need to figure this **** out.

Depends who you ask. Some players think he's one of the very best and would love to work with him. Others think he's awful. The ones who think he's bad tend to be players who like to do there own thing and don't like being told off.

Players like Robben, Schweinsteiger, Muller, Xavi, iniesta etc think he was fantastic.

Players like Rivaldo hated him but respected him.

Ribery and that bellend who has been crying in the news the past few weeks despise him because he didn't fall for their ****e. These players share a mentality with the likes of Nasri.

    hmmmmmmm..... sounds like mourinho

    evidence

    Pro:

    Depay jumped at utd
Sweinsteiger wanted a new challenge and knew van gaal who converted him to CM from wing.

    Against:
    Valdes...
    RVP relationship post holland
Pedro - was he warned off or pursuaded by fabregas and mourinho... why did utd not simply off the rate required.

i'm sure there are many more.

ribery is a **** his under age scandal proves that but he's a top player at bayern... just as much as robben who btw flopped at real prior to bayern....

All in all xavi, iniesta comments can't really be proven...

the actions of players who've actively said no and who wanted to join him over other options is where this needs to be.

    serious question:

Teams seem to be forming up at this point, and performances have been revealing

City look stronger... is de bruyne on his way too? still light at ST IMO
Cheslea in chaos?.. have the reacted well? two players in but what will change
Arsenal: Are they up to it? will they get it together and do on a run
Utd: have they done enough, are they smarting from rejection or will they buy a striker?

Where do people have the top 4 finishing in thier minds now?

Given the choice right up to the end it's obvious Pedro wanted United. Our fck up was that, for whatever reason, we didnt complete the deal. Whether that was bcos we fcked about over the price (which put him off and pushed him toward Chelsea) or bcos we changed our mind. Either way that's where our fck up lies and where we need to look at our approach. The rest is just smoke and mirrors.

Chelsea have paid exactly the same as we reportedly offered treble.

So i dont see how we are at fault at all.

No they havent but lets not go into that again <laugh> What I will say is they put the money down and boom they had the player. We either didnt do that...or we changed our mind which imo was stupid in itself. Either way it goes back to my original point in the previous post.

If that's right, then it was obviously the players choice, so they've maybe loved him up better than you have and he's felt more 'wanted' by Chelsea.

21.4m whoch is roughly 28m euros. Which is what our offer was. 1.4 million in add ons would take it to 30m euros.

Its exactly what we offered. Theres no way you can blame the club for refusing to play silly games with Barcelona.

The "oh we just need him a little longer" bollocks tells you everything you need to know about this transfer. The fact we pulled the plug before Chelsea pounced shows he had no intention of going there to begin with.

Perhaps but some reports state Jose didnt want him and its very much a transfer driven by Roman. Others claim Cesc and Jose spoke with him. Jose is disliked by Barcelona in general but hes a winner and thats what matters.

End of the day we can only speculate at whats really happened. Its likely we will never know and we will just nail our fkag tl which suits our agenda.

As far as I am concerned, Barcelona are the messers and its not the first time. As big a bunch of ****s as Madrid.

I think it was a combination of both personally. We fcked about with the price and pushed him towards Chelsea. Or if that isnt the case we pulled the plug last minute...which lets be honest was also stupid.

    "what really happened".

What really happened was Pedro had two suitors and chose one of them. Chelsea.

Thats what I meant by the winner comment. When all is said and done it doesnt matter.

Footballers a fickle. They don't care as long as they are paid in most cases. 3 years at Chelsea means as much to Pedro as 3 years at any clubs bar Barcelona.

nothing worse as a signal to a player than not wanting him enough. the guy engineered his contract at barca to be easily available if he said he wanted to go. his tranfer fee is a pittance in modern terms and most cluases are far higher.

therefore...... utd cannot claim they didn't talk to player nor that their ceo was not over there so.... was 3 mil either way really all that vital to utd? surely the big rich club was not in FFP trouble?

if utd were in and then just did close it a player like pedro would always feel slighted.

One thing i do know is when valdes moves i think he'll have a go... i would not out to much store in anyhting he says.

None of the facts correspond but lets not go into this again. I'm not you, I'm not astro. I dont believe my club can do no wrong.

Almost. He had one suitor who decided his **** parent club were a bunch of morons so told them where to shove it.

Chelsea then did a Chelsea. No work involved. Jose has made a career out of it.
