Only by the Glass half empty brigade mate. I don't see any benefit to us as a club to go down, what can be gained by chucking away £80+m?

I know. I thought the whole thing regarding DA coming back was to give us some continuity by appointing his successor now, and working along side him now.

In the absence of that, these season can be viewed in isolation.

However, we should still be able to sign players. The coach is only one factor to be considered

Congerton has had his job made harder like it wasn't hard enough already. He's clearly got to contend with a budget as well as all the bad press us and the club pile on ourselves. We should leave the poor bastard alone.

My Question, who is his Successor? Shouldn't we as fans Atleast have the decency of knowing this? How can you have continuity when you don't know the first step forward? It's embarrassing at the moment.. For the record, I appreciate having Dick as our manager, just a little scared for the next season and beyond.. Someone said on here last week that we need an old head ex player speaking for the club regarding all our matters.. Yep id' agree, not only that but to breed and and install the culture of all things SAFC. That would make all players at our club appreciate the history, fans and want to bleed for the jersey! My experience fellas is culture is everything in a club, without that knowledge or appreciation, the players don't give a ****..

If we all pull together instead of fighting and point the finger, I think Dick could stay on another year. We can't plan at the movement anywat that's for sure. Not at the state of the club currently.

My guess is that if Short comes through and fulfils his end of the deal and DA is allowed to build HIS team, he will stay another season and continue. I get the impression he's a man that likes to see the job through mate.

I don't think your first question should be asked just yet Aussie. Now's not the time.

Things need stabilising right now without worrying who'll be in charge next. That time will come, but hopefully not just yet.

We need to get behind the current regime as loudly as possible, whether its in the ground or in the media.

If he fails or walks, ask your question then, not before.

Their lies the problem mate, no plan b, no future structure.. Your telling me to stick together when I'm not having a go at fellow fans, I'm just asking the questions mate.. Off topic, have you written for RR yet funk? Would love to read it bro!

Think it will be loans myself. We know there's money there, it's wage bill init. it's been all about the wage bill for a long time. Unwanted players who won't **** off need a kick up the arse to leave. They're the ones preventing us from evolving.

I'm sorry mate but I'll respectfully disagree with you there.. Maybe that's the root of our problem over the years.. Every SAFC fan has different views and opinions as you know, we are all entitled to our own! I'm 100% behind it! actually 110% behind it ( just for you Gordon) I Predicted we'd get 9/10 points our first four games mate.. I've been optimistic during pre season and so on.. Right now, I'm venting and it's well worth it. One thing the club can learn from this is to speak UP! Atleast say something on there approach!

I'm not telling you to pull together fella<laugh>, I'm saying us all. The fans, the directors, the players, the manager, our media representatives, **** even the ****ing program sellers. Everyone, the whole club! It's embarrassing the lack of unity we have from top to bottom. We're a shambles mate, we can't even form a plan A let alone a plan B with the state of the club. We need to get our house in order first thing first, so we actually have something to build a plan around.

Yeah mate, done loads. I'm Brian Cummins. See that name it's me who's done it. :)

<laugh> You know me Brian, I might be down under but it still ****s me to tears with how the club is run... So much potential, undeniable potential at that brother. In recent seasons I've kept my mouth shut during poor runs.. This season though, still early I have a sick feeling in my gut and I'm voicing brother. That is all mate <ok> p.s will look at your work on RR. Very balanced and a respected football fan mate!

I'd prefer to buy but at the end of the day we need players, if it has to be loans then i can live with that. Just so long as the board back the manager and allow him to do the job they chased him to do. If he gets that i think we'll be fine and i reckon he might just extend his contract and see the job through mate, i hope so anyway. He's the first manager we've had in a long time with class.

I thought the only reason he stayed on was to get the quality players in, has he been conned ? we might has well have put Kevin ball in charge if so. What the hell is going on we are becoming the presses' laughing stock.

So long as we get the players to keep us up I don't care either. But we must free wages enough wages to do the business. There's no value in the market now. January prices from here on in. Just can't see the big permanent injection of quality coming in that we need.
