Jazz Cafe was a nice venue and like yourself prefer to sit down. Those O2/03 venues bring your drink to your seat fs.I went to see The Who last year in the 02 Dublin, seating and small area in front for standing.People around me were telling people to stop singing and shouting fs "I hope I die before I get old" indeed.

It might have been Norovirus actually but my mate got it after a Charlatans gig there about 10 years ago.

I knocked down all the barriers in the the AECC. Went into the hall for a drink and there were all these free standing divider/barries. Cool as **** I leaned against one to sup ma beer and it fell over and took the rest down like dominoes <laugh>

I was on ma feet in a split second giving every body the body language of "whit prick did that?".

Bowes Lyon House, Stevenage - went to my first gig there and regularly for a few years. Saw many greats of the anarcho punk/hardcore punk scenes. It was pretty much a venue that was used to raise funds for the local Hunt Saboteurs despite the slightly royalist name.

When I lived in London mates in a band from Dublin used to stay with me so was in a lot of venues. The Astoria comes to mind think I saw EMF there. There was a nice venue at the end of Upper Street up on the right **** knows what it was called.I saw Radiohead's showcase gig in the World's End,Camden. At the time knew a few roadies/sound/lights blokes from Ireland so ended up in gigs all over the shop, something every week and heavy going. My bird at the time worked for EMI so freebies everywhere. One regret was a freebie for Loch Lomond to see Oasis, don't know if it was any good but wish I had gone just to see Scotland, went to a Old Firm game a few years later and not quiet the same!Worse kip was in New Cross,****s taking your beer in front of you fs The Venue it may have been, south London is a no no.

Chichester cathedral is well known for it's acoustics, particularly with choral works. Fauré's Requiem was performed there once and it was beautiful.
