The person I pity the most in our squad now is blind. Everybody thinks we need a new cb, it won't hurt to have one though. But in all honesty Blind hasn't had a poor game even throuout pre season. The problem is if he makes one simple mistake, then all fans will get on him and blame him. The same fans won't say anything if we signed otamendi and makes the same mistake Blind made. I know everyone doesn't trust Blind there but I think he should be given a chance, he's not too spectacular but so far he's doing a fine job. But the moment he makes a mistake even the best defenders in the world make, all hell will be let lose on him.

That doesn't sound like any United fan I know, I can't speak for you of course. I would say that the vast majority of us realise he's a utility player plugging a position he's been asked to play in and doing a good job. There's no way would it be him gets stick if he makes a mistake, he's been brilliant in both play and attitude since he joined us
