Don't know if anyone has already mentioned it (can't be arsed to trawl through thread), but Bettinelli AND Smith both did their knee ligaments in that collision.

That's pretty awful luck, to lose both to the same serious injury.

It looked much worse than ligament damage in real time.

They had most of the second half, a pretty long 'spell'. The substitutions were urgently needed.

Even more rotten luck considering they collided defending an offside attack <laugh>

I just saw the highlights on sky and although mcgregor didn't hold on to the cross it was nothing like the mistake against wolves. After pushing the cross away - he should hold it - he stopped a shot and then aluko lost the ball before it fell to cairney and he scored with a fantastic shot.

Did anyone see when the team came out for the second half, all the City players went straight over to do a little fitness drill on the touchline but 'Abel H' was oblivious to it and strolled over to the centre circle. To his credit he did go over and join in when he realised.

Agreed, it wasn't the best goalkeeping but it was in no way the reason we conceded, we had four players crowding around the ball on the edge of the area once it was passed to Cairney there wasn't anyone to close him down and he had all the time in the world to place his shot.

Missed last nights game but on the highlights after cairney scored, was it his own supporters he went over to, or a section of city supporters?

I don't think you can put the whole blame for their goal on McGregor, I think he purposely knocked the ball down in front of him but was impeded by one of their players when trying to collect the ball. Aluko was culpable losing the ball instead of just clearing it.

His own at first but then he made a big deal out of kissing the badge, sticking two fingers up to the east stand and turning his back to them pointing at his name and number.

I thought the same thing, sadly because of his cockup last week, people are instantly all over him.

Was there a middle finger salute when the East were singing "Cairney, what's the score?" Looked like it from where I was sat.

Don't get me started on the bellend near me this season. I have got some of the thickest twats our species has produced around me.

"What you doing McGregor" "You've got to make a decision McGregor" "Youve got to get that McGregor" baring in mind he was talking about action going on around the halfway line.

Then constant whining about all three substitutions and keeping Aluko on the pitch, bet he loved seeing two subs set up Aluko for the winner <laugh>

As there's plenty of spaces around the stadium does anyone know if they'll let me move? Because I'm gonna end up nutting that bellend before we get to Christmas.

It certainly wasn't as bad a mistake as the one against Wolves - it was a rather half-hearted attempt to take the ball initially but, at the time, it looked to me as if he'd been caught on the knee and was hobbling as he tried to get back to his line. I didn't notice the save he made from the initial follow up shot (shown on the highlight clip). After that the ball should have been cleared and the key error was Aluko's.

Played some decent stuff in the first half, but their substitutions in the second half worked well & we started it very poorly.

Fulham deserved their equaliser for their efforts and Cainrey's goal was a craxking finish. You could say it was McGregor's fault but i thought it should've been cleared by the midfield.

To City's credit we got our fingers out after that and re-gained some momentum & turned the match back in our favour. We probably should've done a bit better in front of goal- Clucas' wayward header for example.

The winner spared our blushes and a difficult post match interview for Brucey. I think we just about deserved it in the end. Pleased for Aluko because he needed that goal. And he put in a shift, same with Meyler.

Dunno why Cairney got some stick from the City fans. He didn't want to leave the club. It's not like he's slagged s off when he left. And he did what evryone would've done if they scored a fantastic goal like that.

Finally, 16K attendances is awful. All Allam's doing that. Prices need addressing.

    Thought he did ok.

His touch was very good and was infotunately penalised by the ref for turning the defender on the half way line, in the second half, when he was clean through on goal.

Passing was good with Akpom and the midfield.

Thought Jela did more when he came on- obviously his knockdown set up Aluko's goal.

Matt Smith going off injured in the same incident as their keeper actually made them better. Sub Dembele didn't win much in the air but he put himself about in the second half.

Pringle (short arsed blonde on the left) I thought was their best player.

I agree. I was suprised he went off before the end, just after Sone scored. He was looking threatening.
