Silvestri shouldn't take the blame for the draw, it's the rest of the team's fault for not being able to see the game out. He does need to sort his distribution out sharpish though, his kicking is still atrocious.

Actually thought Wootton did a relatively decent job tonight, although I agree that he probably shouldn't've been starting in the first place. Antenucci did win the penalty and score it, but he was as average as the rest of the team - in fairness he could've substituted any of the forwards. Not sure why Erwin didn't come on though.

Phillips is, as you said, playing on adrenalin - doesn't possess the goal threat of Mowatt or the poise and drive of Cook, so I doubt he'll push either out. His presence in the midfield only serves to highlight the shocking paucity of options we possess. A Championship savvy central midfielder would've helped us see the game out today, and would've done the same thing at Burnley, and probably would've won us the cup game vs Donny after the red card too.

Bellusci is very suspect, but unfortunately all of our centre backs are. Bamba is the best of the bunch but even he is prone to the odd clanger.

As for dropping players - who the f*ck are we going to drop them for? We have no one in the bloody squad! <doh>

We've played 2 away games and 1 at home,

2 points from 2 away games is considered very acceptable by many, we let the home win slip away from us for various differing opinions. We should've had a better start but we have a schedule of games packed tighter than a gay virgins bum hole.

Mid season we would probably be happier with the 2 away draws, early days yet and I'm disappointed like everyone else. All up we ain't doing bad considering the obstacles the PL put in front of us, even Rosler is thinking that someone doesn't like Leeds now, even this early in season.

Hockaday was sacked by Cellino after 6 games last season because you had only won 2 of them and got knocked out of the cup by a League 1 team <ok>

But then he had the faithful Redfern to rely on!!

The problem is, a point away from home is generally considered good assuming you're winning your home games. We don't look like winning full stop. Still being outplayed, can't win a midfield battle, no real pace, no creativity. We managed a pathetic 3 shots on target tonight, and whatever Cotterill says, Bristol City were as abject as we were. I doubt we'll come up against opposition quite as poor this season, they were almost Donny level dire. Our supposedly improved defence still creaks and we can't maintain a lead to save our lives. I must've said it a thousand times by now but where the hell is the Championship savvy midfield leader we're desperately lacking? I like Murphy but if Rosler and Cellino are relying on him to change our fortunes around, boy are we going to be in trouble.

Was anyone actually at the game tonight? I'd like to hear their assessment of the players & what went wrong. Otherwise, I guess I'm listening to people's interpretations of a commentators' interpretation, which is next to useless as far as I'm concerned. :(

You were very poor tonight, we gifted you two goals in which one of your players dived for the penalty, 6 minutes were added on because of subs, player injury and your constant time wasting which was your own fault. Without Bamba I'd say you were pretty average.

    Totally agree with this Kiwi,

We had same midfield problems last year and we still have'ém, and Cook or Murphy make no difference.

They say games are won and lost in midfield, never a truer word was spoken. Rosler should give Sloth a make or break game along side Adeyemi, Put Taylor or Phillips on left mid, Cooper to LB and leave Berardi at RB.

We never gave service to our strikers in the last 2 thirds of last season and we ain't doing it now. Opposing teams are including a double decker bus in their midfield as they expect that much room.

Basically, our midfield is our major problem.

Why are you talking about more attacking options for our midfield. We're already creating chances, making space, making runs etc.

I'm more cocerned about winning the fcuking ball and protecting our defence - who in our midfield is consistently capable of that?? I didn't see the match tonight, but I understand that both goals were scored from positions within the penalty box. So where were the midfield (genuine question - I don't know).

Looks like relagation for you then, because without 2 unbelievable gifts from our keeper, would have been an easy 2-0 win.How did you gift wood his goal ? he danced around your poor defender and your keeper never had any chance, and while Antonuchi went down easy it was a pen.Was that your cup final or do you always get that excited with a point ?.

There are only three pieces of evidence that matter.
    1. The results... No wins in four competitive games
    2. The league position
    3. The match stats from games played
Which of those Look any better than what we achieved last year or the year before...
Of that's right, not ****ing one!
If you think our current crop of ****e will keep Wednesday out on Saturday then you need to give your head a shake.
As it stands we will be in the bottom three by the end of September.... Will you start to listen then?

Prediction, rosler goes, cellino says " I knew we had to play the midfield diamond" and we get another Hockawally type puppet.

    Interesting comment.
Have you seen the match stats?
The only part we were poor in was our finishing - and that stat made us equal to you!!
