Sure you wernt mistaking him for Akpom, who you picked. Who did **** all, apart from one turn, in the second half. Him Hernandez and Hudd were invisible second half.

Hudd I agree with. First half was immense, but woeful second. Elmo's just gone up in my estimation for kissing the badge when he scored (hopefully it means something).

Meyler - Stand out midfielder/player on the pitch, by a ****ing mile. It's not even a contest. If you haven't got him I'd be questioning your judgement.
Davies - Defending consistently at a high standard.
Hernandez - Surpassing my expectation and putting a shift in.

    That is all.

    Completely agree with Meyler.

Compared to last season Hernandez was a revelation. Still nowt special and i think it was a mistake not to play Jelavic. Abel always seems to want to try and flick it over a defenders head.
Clucas is a worry. Very very lightweight.

Meyler, seemed like there were two of him on the pitch at times, he got everywhere.

    Dawson, class as usual.

    Davies, solid. Welcome back Curtis.

You see I don't get this bullshit, why shouldn't he celebrate? He's not a City fan, we just employed him for a while. He doesn't owe us anything, celebrate as much as he likes and where he likes.

I only picked Hernandez on the basis of his work and effort. Given how hard he has worked to get a move out of Hull, his effort came as a genuine surprise.

To think some people criticise Meyler. Shame on them.

Clucas is a strange one. Obviously they've seen something in him but looks very one footed, lightweight and lacking real pace. Works hard enough but would like to think he's a player we'll use from the bench rather than the start.

I haven't always been Meyler's biggest fan but how anyone could look beyond him for MoM tonight is a mystery to me. He absolutely physically bossed the middle of the field tonight. An outstanding performance. Those two years in the Premier League have created a Championship beast.

He was so far in front of any other player, I felt embarrassed for Robertson when the announcer called him out as MOM. I'm also embarrassed for anyone who doesn't have him down in their top 3. Though he was so far ahead of anyone else he should be everyone's first choice.

Meyler, Dawson way ahead of the rest. Interesting about Hernandez.....worked hard, but when the **** will we see a striker who has the instinct and makes the runs to get on the end of the constant flow of crosses we put in?

What happened in the second half? We seemed to do better once Dudd was pulled off.

Anyone who still thinks Meyler is **** needs to go have a long hard look at themselves.

    Elmo, really??
He looks like he's lost a yard of pace and a bag on interest to me. His crosses were hit and miss

He never looks quite the same playing in midfield....much more effective running onto passes from deep, although he is good in the air so might get more opportunities to get on the end of crosses into the box (some ****er has to)
