That would take some explaining, City offer a higher transfer fee (and probably wage) than United and Pedro/Barca say no, then Chelsea "gazump" us by offering the fixed price

All i see is a lot of who can piss higher here.

City rumour was just that. A very brief splash in the papers then nothing so if the mancs on here can say that means Utd are not in then frankly city who cares?

Chelsea get the player... he doesn't improve them imo....

Utd don't and havery moved on late to mane which suggests they have been looking for players still but have not got something to stick.

At least rightly or wrongly lfc have their players in so I'm still happy we filled in the biggest gaps so it depends who succeeds or not for us.

Yep, we should have made a decision when Barca started saying they needed him for the Super Cups, it should have been now or forget it.

Seems like we did just that. We just didn't feel the knobs in the press or on not606 needed to know.
