That is crazy if all reported transfer fees are true! Key thing for me with the Inler deal is the fact it's for longer than a year, sure he could be ****, but at least we won't have the same thing happening as did with Cambiasso.
I'm happy swapping a potential quality player for a quality player given our objectives now we are in the prem.
Me too. Inler and Huth are short term "investments" but if they can help us establish ourselves in the Prem, then they'll pave the way for other - maybe even better - quality players.
Remember that we have a good prospects in Matty James and N'Golo Kanté - both are only 24 - and 22 year old Liam Moore.
Even Drinkwater and King are pretty young, when you consider how long some midfielders can play for (Cambiasso, Gerrard, Lampard etc.) in this league. I'm looking forward to seeing Inler and Kante play properly, can't quite believe the options we have in midfield now.

When I first read that Simpson headline I thought it was suggesting he was returning to Manchester United!
It may have only been 10 minutes but I think we saw some class there from Inler. Very calm but also imposing.
That pass he made out wide to Mahrez, just before Lloris made that point-blank save was absolutely brilliant.
Who will make way for him? Is Drinkwater going to be the one losing out again? The poor lad had Cambiasso to compete with last season. With Kante also waiting in the wings will both Drinkwater and King face the axe?
I have no pity for him as I only care about Leicester City FC - if he wants his place, play better and take it. Last season he didn't step up at all and was rather disappointing in his appearances - he seems to have learnt from that but lets see if he can step it up further with someone the standard of Inler competing with him. CR has shown that he doesn't care about reputations - as shown by our top scorer last season and record signing not playing yet - so if you are good enough, you will play so it is all up to Drinkwater.
I wonder if a draw at home to spurs is actually enough of a reason to warrant changes... I certainly don't think so to be honest, but with what people said about Inlers last 10 minutes on Saturday and a boss performance tonight (if hes picked) then its going to be a difficult pick. We have gone from being too thin in midfield in July to giving CR nightmares about selecting 2 CMs now, but this is very positive for the football club in general
