    Despite every major news outlet reporting that United pulled out of a deal for Barcelona's Pedro (a fact confirmed by the club), many people are desperately clinging onto the belief he chose Chelsea over them. This blinkered belief seems to provide much comfort and security to them.

    As you usually ask for links to particular stories, where's your link to LvG saying that he pulled out of any possible deal for Pedro before Maureen pulled the carpet from under the Dutch fellers feet?

    PEDRO RECAP
    OK for those of you just joining us - firstly where have you been? - but more importantly here is a quick roundup of where we currently stand regarding the future of Barcelona forward Pedro.
    Manchester United     have told us they've dropped all interest in signing the player.
    At the same time Marca is reporting that Pedro will join Chelsea, with the Spanish sports daily claiming Pedro is in London for talks with the Blues.
    Marca also say Chelsea have agreed to pay the full £21m release fee in Pedro's Barca deal.
    However, we've also been told United dropped their interest in Pedro because manager Louis van Gaal decided the Spain international did not fit into his requirements at Old Trafford.
    Either way, it has now been confirmed that Pedro will not be joining United....
