    The ground and some pulling probably took its toll on Golden Horn. He should still be beating her though, he won't be winning any Arc if he can't handle good to soft ground :biggrin:

    He was never an Arc horse Shergar, he was made for the King George. Jack Hobbs is more of an Arc type.

    Agreed, i didnt want to say it but in a way I wanted them to get beat, they dodged the most suitable race for the horse because of breeding and it has backfired spectacularly.

    It doesnt effect the Arc for me, never considered Golden Horn an Arc chance at any stage, doesnt have the gears for an Arc. Jack Hobbs is a serious player though.

    In the last at Ffos Las (5:40), had a small punt on Port Lairge at 7/1. Hard to say which one will be best suited by the bog-like conditions, but this one might be the answer at a decent price?

    Were no champions in that Derby boys. If the Horn was one he'd a won today. Jack Hobbs has absolutely no chance against Treve.
