LvG pulls plug on Pedro deal http://www.dailypost.co.uk/sport/fo...helsea-swoop-manchester-united-target-9887146
Earlier you said on Chelsea signing Pedro.... ↑ "Its based on a fake bein sports report. Ots bollocks." And "I honestly believe Chelsea have no money. I also suspect City and PSG's spending won't go unpunished. If Chelsea cannot spend, neither can they." Chelsea have just spent £40m in 24 hours and earlier this summer you said City could not spend. They have just spent £80m, And when the new TV deal comes in all clubs can spend more, eroding United's three-window advantage in the transfer market, which Woody and LVG are screwing up
If it was LVG who decided he didn't want him then Woodward is absolved of any blame. Nothing riles me more than people working for Unitd trying to negotiate a bargain. The whole world knows that United will pay and if United doesn't then Chelsea or City will.
United insist that it was their manager who decided against moving for Pedro despite executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward having flown to Barcelona on Monday to discuss the deal. It was not the only piece of business on the agenda for Woodward Any ideas?
He also wanted to pick up some boquerones and jamon iberico for a dinner party Mrs Woodwood is hosting on Friday.
This will be dismissed by London's as reliable of course. Instead he will find a website from about five years ago quoting van Gaal as complimenting Pedro in some match or other once which will prove beyond repute that van Gaal wanted him and that Pedro rejected us. I'm glad Louis knows what he wants, I just hope that also happens to be more one more forward before deadline.
I have a hunch!! Around the close of the window you'll see De Gea going to Real with Benzema (or Bale) coming in the opposite direction.
Why then isn't LVG playing De Gea in the CL matches? Something in the pipeline there that will only happen close to the dealine and we, the public are only going to know about it once the deal has been completed. The only other one that I mooted way back in the spring, before the press even suggested it, was a move for Harry Kane based on Rooney's comments after playing alongside him for England.
Pedro to Chelsea makes no sense. Chelsea play 5-4-1 park the bus and play long balls to Costa, that tactic wont suit Pedro.
Strange that two weeks ago we would have signed him yet now, at Barcas insistence, we have seen him play in the 3 Super Cup games LvG has pulled out.
Tbh the Pedro thing always smacked a bit of us being interested purely because a good player said he wanted to leave his club. Too much of a risk it would just end up as a Di Maria situation where we got a player who was no good for us just because he was there. That said, he's the ideal Chelsea player - Fabregas, Cuadrado, Willian, Pedro - they are basically specialists in sweeping up players desperate for a move and willing to go to any club they can find.
I honestly don't know whether Pedro is a good player. He plays in Spain and I watch English football. The fact he plays for Barca suggests he will be a good player with excellent technique. Whether he will find Mourinhoball suited to his game in the same way Barcaball was is something I guess we will find out soon enough. Fabregas seems to have struggled since Mourinho beat the Barca out of him.
You have no money. Youve spent 3 years bleating on about it you tit. The bein report early was fake too. The actual news came out 8 hours later. .
