    Agree, but Channel 4's nothing compared to Racing UK, the worst I've ever seen, and they have the audacity to charge for it!

    Was never running. Like QM said, the announcement was as late as it was so as to not affect the attendance just like King George. I heard a rumour that Golden Horn wasn't even brought to Ascot that day :bandit: <yikes>

    Fair enough not running a fast ground miler over 10.5f on good/soft if your minding the horse (AKA stud value) but the Goodwood one was the really stupid one. The racing politics got in the way of that some would say, as Coolmore didn't support the meeting as much as before #Qatar

    Hope the Horn wins half the track now and who knows, maybe he could head for the Irish Champion at Leopardstown like Sea the Stars did?

    I'd like to see Bing Bang Bong win this for a smaller yard - no bet though.

    Why is a good old Northern trainer like Kevin Ryan also saying "listen"? Is it a must these days?

    It's a long while since Oppenheimer's had such a decent horse as Golden Horn (has he ever??) - surely he will want to race it, maybe even as a 4YO, rather than whisk it off to stud?

    Might then well be Golden Horn's last appearance .......

    Nice winner for the Queen there - looks to have a very nice attitude and I like the mixture of Memory and Galileo - could make a very nice 3YO

    Yep. Old boy Oppenheimer more or less said they'd do anything to get him retired unbeaten so you're probably right. Hope he puts a show on today, I'm looking for a distance bet, I think they'll be looking for a demo job today with the pacemaker in.
