I think you've accidentally added a superfluous 'committee members' there, only PLT has posted such an opinion.
That's okay then. All the rest have been polite and supportive throughout havent you/they? Just curious about a line in that release. When did the trust decide to change back to claiming to represent supporters as opposed to members? What mandate have they got to do that?
It's not nit picking you pompous arse. The trust has tried to over represent it's influence and support in the past. As yet, they still can't produce anything that shows they represent anything other than the handful on the committee. That's not nit picking, it's fundamental to the issue.
If it said "all supporters" you might have a point. As I can't imagine there are any members that aren't supporters your point comes across as being silly.
In your opinion. When this was raised before, the point was accepted, and 'members' was used instead to make things clear, hence the question asking why the change. Don't be so naive to think it was accidental and they want people to just assume it's the minority that are in the trust they're referring to.
Which one though? Personally I thought the last one was a bit ****e. My main problem with the current one is the huge amber shield. Which was obviously in preparation for adding Hull Tigers.
I think you'll be reminded that the flask photo should never have been uploaded to the www, the fact it it was, and it said much more about Mark Gretton than it ever will about Assem Allam.
I had no problem with Assem Allam saying I could die when I want, however it did upset some people. Assem Allam made no apology or gave an explanation of his reasons for saying it. Steve Bruce provided the explanation. In my world getting an underling to explain what you might have meant is not good form. However the second part of his quote was insulting to those people who were told to stop following their football club if they didn't like the name change. Some of them helped pay Hull City's bills when it was rolling about at the bottom of the football league facing extinction. The money they handed over was given to the club, not loaned at 5%, now reduced to 4%, pa.
I'm not taking sides LBIA. AA has let himself down badly with comments as well. Just hope the Allams accept the HCST olive branch and start a dialogue, even if it just starts with a courteous letter back.
I'd obviously rather he hadn't tweeted it, but I think far more has been made of it than was really warranted.
There's nothing exact about it. It's wide of the mark, and while you keep ignoring and dismissing such things, the trust will continue to seem less and less representative of most supporters.
There's an email address on the first post, if anybody would like to direct any serious issues or suggestions to The Trust. Obviously whining & criticising, like tarts rather than being pro-active in attempting to create a worthwhile two way conduit between supporters & the club is an easier option for some.
What, you can make a decision without going back to the committee? There's progress. I don't doubt you don't see merit in the point I'm making. The trust don't represent most people, yet like to try to claim they do. It's why they avoid open discussion or any attempt to demonstrate that they're representative or (I did laugh at the claim in the letter) democratic. I do hope the discussion and debating skills are of a higher standard if the trust ever get to meet the chairman.
