SN seemed to go into metdown for some reason and posted some real juvenille crap, God knows why he felt the need to do so. He must have been pissed or high on something I reckon, either that or he has some serious issues.

Bit of strange one for me.

At first I thought he was a bit of a tool, then I thought he was Bipolar. After that I thought he was just different when he was drunk.

Drink can do funny things to people, especially when they have a keyboard in front of them and an axe to grind on a forum. For me it was being a "Tory" that he hated. He was a bit like TMC but a lot more aggressive.

We got on OK at the end and I think he provided some good content although some of the threads (like the one about CD being a mod) were ultimately his downfall. Think it was the drink if I'm being honest but I'm not sure.

I'm very sure it was alcohol or chemical influenced, but I see nothing of Munky in his posts, Munky is passionate in his support for NCFC and in his political persuasion! <ok>

Yes, maybe I came across wrong. What I meant was that they both felt the same way towards me but Nathan crossed the line between discussion and personal abuse.

I'm not really looking to prolong this thread, but are you saying SN isn't passionate about NCFC? (You'd be wrong). Also I'd say his political views were fairly passionate.

I'm not sure if they mirror Munky's - I haven't given it any thought, but they certainly both share a sensible view of, for instance, the value of multi-ethnic communities in the UK, vehemently disagreeing with the Daily Mail flappers. <ok>

To expand on this statement of mine, it's a shame he was banned, but I'm not against it. He wasn't that bad, but his presence did encourage the 'General Chat Brain Trust' to appear on here.

I dunno actually, I can see where Kemp is coming from - never met SN in real life but a lot of his banter and political leaning is definitely on my wave-length, though I think I know where to draw the line and (believe it or not) I genuinely never intend to offend anyone with anything I post. I enjoy most of his output but I agree that he does step over the line - some of the stuff he was posting on the Sunderland board on Saturday just isn't called for at all and wasn't even remotely funny.

I'd say he's probably at his worst when he isn't on something to be honest, I think if he was high on some drug or whatever then he'd generally be less aggressive and antagonistic, more likely to be the booze talking myself.

At the end of the day we are all capable of posting some odd things at times.

There was the Carrabuh post the other day about people dying, CT posting about wishing people were dying because they may not have paid the correct amount in tax......I have probably done it at some point. Think even you might of Dave.

SN23 or Nathan did it far more often and crossed the line.

Gandy, you are in danger of turning this into another political thread. :bandit:

There was the "if Carlsberg did photo-shop" thread.

    Classic.

Carrabuh's post was the all time biggest tanker though.

Poor bloke. I hope we haven't lost him as a poster. Dave, has he logged in since?

That was taken completely out of context! I saw the photo posted somewhere and thought, wouldn't it be great if there was an afterlife and she were able to see her grandchildren, it just tugged on my heart-strings and it didn't bother me that you lot were taking the piss, I just enjoyed the feelgood factor of seeing the photo!

I'm just an old sentimentalist at heart!

Nice one Dave, you soft bugger.

I'm sure my Grandad would have thought the same god rest his soul.
