I see you're using some loose stats there, but that's okay, I know the depth of your experience in these things.
I have limited experience with loose stats although I have an abundance of experience when it comes to loose shats.
[ didn't they bring out a computer game which was immensely popular...I think it involved pigs and wass called angry birds
Bloody hell, you say it how you want, but Gray, et al, weren't just bought on the basis of statistics; I don't if this is what you are referring to as your source of information, but read it and note this: Edit (device playing up): I like what they are doing, but they retain their human intuative judgment skills, which is exactly what I have been saying - they are also careful not to divulge detail of how they use the statistical modelling.

These are the same measurements Sqawka use to measure player performance. Funnily enough they are surprisingly accurate. This is not the first time this system has been adopted 'Moneyball' is a film based on a true story about Billy Beane and his Baseball Team the Oakland A's. Sabermetric modelling and for scouting and analysing players, so they could compete with teams that had far more financial muscle. They set an all American record by winning 20 consecutive games with a team built solely on statistics.
Not sure if mentioned, but Brizzle are offering 6m up front for Gray, and it's been accepted. Have absolutely no idea why we aren't matching that after our pursuits.
If all your repetitively offensive, universally antagonistic, poorly phrased, inferiority-complex denying posts were removed (go back and scan the ENTIRE thread for your own "contribution" to it), this and a few other threads would be 1/4 of the size and ten times as good. Incidentally, how do you pay little Quilly and the other confused followers in your little clique? In asterisks?
Not at all similar, since Hernandez had done nothing in England. Gray is a known quantity, not a gamble.
