Things we should have booted out of our national game, newcastle disgrace, again

The thing is, some of the morons who invaded the pitch last night will be looking at the pictures in todays papers congratulating each other on their 20 minutes of infamy.

This has been reported nationally and the possible damage to their club is yet unknown. Maybe clubs in the premier league will now restrict away ticket allocations.

There is no place for these people in football. If it were our lot, I would be both livid and embarrased about it.

A mate of mine had his six year old grand boy there. That's it now, the kid was so scared he does not want to go back at all. His enthusiasm snuffed out in a few minutes by a couple of hundred mindless chumps.

That is the real shame, that people like that child are now lost as future supporters.

I hope the club ban these numpties for life.

The saddest thing about this, with the derby tickets about to go on sale, how many parents who were thinking of taking their kids to the best match of the year will now have a change of heart because of these scum?

I'm not condoning it. I had a right go at my mare who went on, the game was almost called off. It was horrible to see, see my article last night about it, '****ing shameful' on our board. Anyways, my comment was aimed at Billy, not you, helmet.

You never fail to let your club down do you? Most of your own are condemning this incident yet you choose to say it was all good natured. Well I must have a word with Sky TV, as the pictures I saw this morning were anything but friendly, unless you class kicking **** out of each other good natured? The game stopped for 10 minutes you prick not 40 seconds and the ref contemplated abandoning the game? It was a pre-season friendly at a non league club FFS.

I applaud Dave and empathise with him. I dont want this back in football and I condemn those Sunderland fans that invaded the pitch as well. Its not a partisan issue, it blights the WHOLE of football you div.

badger if you read the comments you will find fans from both sides having grown up debates, not for the first time you jump in with a tone that inflames and you wonder why you get stick.

'If Sammy scores we're on the pitch', he did, about 200 ran on to celebrate and went off again. Some pricks took it too far. Yes it was extreme, but out of the majority that went on, no trouble would have been caused. The trouble only started when Darlington fans ran across, that's when the fighting started, at this point the fans that went on were back in the stand, the ****ers then ran back on to fight. I and many others were booing throughout the whole thing.

I'm setting the record straight to Billy. He seems to think everyone who went on started fighting.

I doubt there were the 2000 on the pitch as some media reports suggest but you seem to be in denial that ANY fan on the pitch is illegal. Do your fans intend to run onto the pitch if Sammy Amadonkey scores anytime in the EPL next season?

Darlo fans are not innocent either, no one here is saying its one sided, in fact the debate is about NATIONAL issues that EVERY club including mine has to combat.

Unfortunately, you chose to jump in and talk the usual horse **** you normally spout, without having the foresight or intellect to actually read the thread first.

Thats why you are a bell end and get treated thus.

Mate, you are so boring it's unbelievable, same old abusive comments, but that's ok isn't it Syd? My comment was to Billy, not you, not Syd. 7-8 muppets fought on the pitch which is the real concern. I'm not going to cry about 200 people on the pitch celebrating a goal. It was wrong yes as it gave the hooligans a perfect excuse.

I reckon the ones that did go on just to celebrate the goal are embarrassed this morning. They won't get done, police got who they wanted from the fighting.

And you're so predictably thick and moronic but unfortunately you keep coming onto the Sunderland board to plague us with your inane drivel therefore, so long as you do, you will continue to receive my boring and predictable abuse.

Both Darlo and the mags fans are as bad as each other, both clubs should be heavily punished by the FA for what happened last night. It doesn't matter who was involved, or how many the fact was cos of crowd trouble the game had to be stopped.

BTW my kid brother was there last night (not as a darlo or mag supporter but just as a fan of football) and now he's saying he doesn't want to go to another game, and to be honest I can't blame him.

A few ****ing idiots always ruin for the majority, but thats true for so many things in life, not just football.

I was responding to a comment having a go at me. Helmet isn't exactly as offensive as what cest has been saying constantly. I have made my point as an eye witness to set the record straight. Some of you are wishing it was worse than what it was.
