I have been badgered into spannering for a mates son who is racing one of the support classes at Cadwell Park this weekend, but it means I have to head off over this evening......sodding weather means I have to go on 4 wheels rather than 2 Nothing worse than turning up at a bike meeting in a car !!
Exactly what are you saying Tuckin ? I have helped him & his lad out numerous times in the past.....not rocket science, my mate comes to most track days with me & helps set my bike up for track rather than road....we aren't talking BSB bikes here, just standard KTM RC 390's
My R1 has never seen so much as a spot of rain..4500 totally dry miles so far & that's not going to change
****ty day for the weather, was going to go to Headingley to watch Yorkshire but I think it's as bad there as here, would have been a decent match today too
I don't mind getting wet but I don't like getting my bike wet....takes hours trying to get the damned thing dry
Sorry misread your reply.....busy getting my gear together & in a rush now.....before I go off grid....not taking my smartphone or any tech with me
****ing pussies. I've just spent two hours sat in the pissing rain and didn't complain once. I was sat in a hot tub mind getting pissed.
Ah well he's gone in the car now & left the keys for the R1, if the weather improves I'm thinking of riding over myself on Saturday or Sunday, bringing the car back & letting him come home on his bike I don't think Dad would look very good on a classic scooter at a track day in Jerez or that you'd be able to do 170+ mph on one He doesn't approve as he says they are incontinent & that he doesn't want oil stains all over the garage floor but I fancy a classic Triumph Bonneville or possibly a Manx Norton track bike
