Yes but then you were at the top of division two so thats what you would expect, wonder how many you would of had if you had stayed around the bottom six as the patronising twat safc said I don't think you have a clue. No offence.
41,000 when we got relegated. That's how many still turned up. You can't profess to have some inside feeling that nobody else can fathom because your club has struggled for a few years, the concept is ****ing simple mate, it doesn't take a wizard to comprehend it. It's funny because over the years, the praises of Ellis Short have been thick and fast but now because he won't fork out £100m of his own cash, he's ****ing satan. The logic here is perspective, I'm sure if passion and loyalty counted for anything then you'd be up near the front of the queue for a trophy, but face it, it doesn't and walking around with a sense of entitlement won't change that.
Well said TT, but you must admit you dont know what its like to support permanent under achievers, lucky you.
I don't support permanent under achievers, correct. I do know what it's like though, it's not quantum physics mate, it's just remembering what frustration, anger, disappointment and anti-climatic emotions feel like and applying them in my imagination to my favourite sports team. That's like me trying to tell you, that you don't know how it feels to win the Champions League. You've never won the Champions League, but I bet you can have a bloody good guess as to how it feels mate. Edit: Let's not forget I'm also an England fan, of sorts.
Trying to tell somebody how it feels supporting Sunderland is like trying to tell somebody who has never suffered from chronic depression what its like. They would have an idea, but its a hell of alot worse than what they think! An England disaster doesn't cut as deep as your club team having a shocker!
That's ridiculous. There somebody goes again, pretending that you have exclusive access to an emotion that I couldn't possibly fathom. It's nothing like telling somebody how chronic depression feels, it's frustration, anger and disappointment. I could not comprehend how it feels to wake up and be told your child has been killed in Iraq. I can comprehend how it feels to support a team that is constantly struggling for progression.
Interesting views onthe suffering of fans. This is what my Man City mate texted me (after the initial p*** take before the the final whistle onSaturday: "I've been there mate.Supported City down to Div 1. Keep the faith!"
Fans will always want better for their team, I don't begrudge you of success as a group, because I agree that you're some of the most loyal and dedicated supporters in England. The fact that you turn up week after week to watch the turd being served up is admirable from a loyalty perspective and I can see the hope never fades, for that I'd tip my hat to you guys. Doesn't mean you're owed anything though.
You are going back more than 20 years, before football hit sky, and the only way to watch your club was to go to the ground. If you dont think we deserve better than what weve been served over the last few years, then thats your opinion. But I dont know why your getting angry and calling me patronising, we are just having a conversation about football, on a football forum, thats what we are here for.
Well maybe you should learn how to converse instead of spouting patronising crap out there like a dumb slut on her period. Crying about turning up in droves to watch crap... do you actually believe that merits reward?
TV football, **** sake. We keep making our ground bigger and it keeps filling up, every match to the brim. Let me know when they make a 300 million seater stadium.
Im not crying about anything. I said our fans deserve better, and I still believe that, no matter what somebody who has seen success all their life thinks. Yes I do believe turning up in droves deserves success, not major success, but atleast a glimmer of satisfaction in 4 years! Because without no fans, you have no club. Maybe you have a dumb slut on her period, but I for one dont want to hear about your other half.
Rest assured, after that last comment, if you ever have the misfortune of crossing me I will snap your ****ing neck on the spot.
I'm finished mate, he's not getting anything more out of me. Sad little **** who disappeared and turned up with a new username, full of **** as always, few of us have had his card marked from day one.
