Add Denilson to that list. Can't remember the game but at the time (pre-Ron&Messi) i thought it was the best performance by a player i'd ever seen. Then he got a big money move to somewhere in Spain and was utter cack forever.

Zlatan is not wanted at PSG....so there's another forward for Liverpool ... as they only have 6!

I'm sure the Brazilian domestic league is highly competitive and Patos form is impressive scoring against these great Brazilian defenders, but Media outlets in Germany reporting Wolfsburg are making a move for Pato.

What I'd do to have Zlatan at Spurs, the guy is an absolute legend, I'd sign him just for his interviews, let alone the fact he's one of the best strikers on the planet!

We could no doubt afford PSG's asking price but I think matching £280,000 a week may be a bit hard though unfortunately :(

We have, just one of them was for Man Utd.

  6. I think Zlatan would be happy to take a pay cut to come to the mighty Spurs in the twilight of his career, and play for the same club once graced by the skills of Hoddle, Waddle, Gazza, and Bentley.

Would love Zlatan at our club. Just so that his no nonsense attitude may rub off on the softies in our team. The little pansies who lack direction. The Vertognen's who think they can play for Spurs in cruise control. The Townsend's who think just because they ran past a player they have every right to blast it into row Z. The Walker's who can't read a game even if it was written down for him. And that little ****ter Lamela who thinks he's made it because he's got the hair.

    Let's get him in <ok>

  8. Townsend reminds me of those greedy players you used to get in the school playground, the ones who every time they got the ball they had no thought other than to try to beat every other player in the yard and to score the goal that would bring him the adulation he so desperately craved. No thought for his team mates, and absolutely no chance that he'd pass the ball to someone else to take the potential glory of scoring the winning goal. A complete knob-head from top to bottom. In the end, no one would pass to the ****er.

That's probably the reason why the club is thinking of getting shot of him.

I should have said "put the ball in the net three times more often than our opponents, aside from penalties," you’re right. <sorry> (One of the two goals we conceded from open play was kicked into the net by Walker.)

Don't forget at one point Townsend was apparently going to offer us what Lennon couldn't (on a regular basis)... end product!

He does offer more end product. Townsend's end products POWER over the bar whereas Lennon's limp lamely wide.

In case you're wondering what we gain from this increase in end product its actually from a defensive point of view...
We are less likely to be hit on the break if our opponents have to go search for the ball before they hit us. Obviously we need Townsend to shoot a few times early on to deplete the spare ball stocks those pesky ball kids have nowadays.

So what do we have today :

Media lock-down because Spurcat did sell Kane (or Lloris) to Man Utd while
at the game at Old Trafford (ITK :) ) ??

Zlatan is this summers' 'VDV' signing ??

The taxpayer have coughed up 75% of the weekly amount needed to pay for
Adebayors' wages in a move to the Spanners ??

Spurmy, you have clearly been following Alan Pardews career and taken note of the logic behind his team selections.
