After a few beers all I can say is where's the left back

    Alcohol helps my brain focus on the meaning of life and at the moment it's "Where's the new left back for Watford?" Yes I can honestly say this is the most important thing in life after a few beers so who should it be? Who are the candidates.? When are we going to see the results of the search come to fruition? It's been a year plus now and that Jock Shyte failed to bring one in so come on Dychey and the true Scott Wilson make my week next week and bring us an exciting left back.... COYH

    Steady Aberdeen, you are at risk of being burnt on the the stake for such heresy - surely you realise that we already have the best LB in the universe?

    I am sure there are a few left backs that we have in mind. That is one area we all know needs filling its about getting the wright player though no point going for anyone.

    I t looks like we will be targeting lower league clubs but there a few really good ones. Richard Duffy at Exeter go get him now. Premiership experiance with Pompy Welsh international young and very quick.

    I think were looking at the dundee united LB ,at least he will know the prince! and if he puts a good word in for us of how much he has enjoyed his first few days etc! You never know!

    It does seem we are searching for a left back.... unfortunately finding one that meets the criteria is that much harder! It will happen, but would rather we wait an extra few weeks to get the right guy in....

    Doyley isn't the best left-back in the universe.... he is the best defender to ever have legs ;)

    i do hope we can find one this season, i think the search is going on a bit too long...over a year and still nothing. Well, nearly something, if it wasn't for a certain ex-manager!

    mmm yes I can't argue with the logic. Aaron Tumwa played left back at Borehamwood, at just 17 he is a lightweight for such a heavyweight league.

    Clearly he could be one for the future, but the season is just 3 weeks away ...........

    Agreed too earlier for him we do need a quality LB preferably with some championship experience! However Manky stole him!
