Why do the refs and their assistants always shaft the small team away to the big team? Not only against us but the against likes of arsenal, Chelsea, United and City too.

A few mistakes made... not too many.

Mingolet flapped badly at two.

Gomez faded a little after 70 mins.

Clyne was really really good.

Lovern worked well.

I thought we dug in but our midfield ended up looking really weak.

Lallana was poor until he moved back in and help with digging in. That says a lot about him.

Ibe wasn't in it at lw at all.

We deffo robbed them but they did their best but the reality is they had no cutting edge up front.

All in all earlier today I said I'd take 1-0 and we got 1-0.

That's great. Clyne really helps us at the back and lovern done really well today just attacking stuff. Gomez is quietly effective....

Midfield is now officially saying Jimmy was right. It's just not up to it.

Coutinho position totally negated his shooting. He needed to play left side but Mr lallana was there stinking the joint up half the game while ibe was also out there

We need to get this fixed.

 

Bit harsh on lovern and Clyne.

For me Clyne was very good tonight. Lovern only made one error imo. He cleared a lot of stuff and just did his business.

I'd say on moreno... good for him just showing he's here to work. That's what you want. He's got to keep that up now.

Only saw the last 15 minutes of the first half but it looked like we're actually more stable defensively now but we've got issues with attack i.e. creating chances and taking them. 2 shots on target all match wasn't it?? pretty poor

Feel bad for Bournemouth but at least they have some positives to take away in the form of their football if not the decisions, plus if we'd put a few past them and they got well beaten it might have been worse for them going into their next match

But I don't support Bournemouth so don't give a feck... it's 3 points for us which is all that counts in the end

Firmino looked off the pace. Doesn't look ready to start a game yet but needs to just to acclimatise to pace of the game. Would be a risk to start him against arsenal but Ibe wasn't great and maybe needs to be used as impact sub for next couple of games.

Can an looked good carried the ball forward unlike Milner and hendo (not that those 2 were bad). Just offers something different. Would still like to see them as a 3 though as think we lost a bit when hendo went off.

 

Dodgy undersved 1-0 win. However you guys are grinding out the results like united which is always nice. You have a clinical striker in benteke who is far better than last years. True test next week against le arse where you dont have a decent record but with workers like hendo milner and can it is that type of hard working midfield that can trouble arsenal.

Will it be a repeat of last years liverpool grinding victories and then hitting a wall or is this just a gelling period? Looking solid so far but the lack of creativity doesnt bode well.

Weird attitude these days. Seems you're not allowed to just be a bit better than the other team. We were better by a small margin and won by a small margin. Apparently that means we robbed them.

They didn't embarrass themselves and the defended decently since they've had the same players being drilled for years. But they also created little and were quite dirty.

A lot of double standards being spouted on here. Just bcos other decisions were wrong doesnt mean your wrong decisions are ok. Especially considering YOU probably pointed out other teams' wrong decisions when they happened. At least be consistent when it's your own team ffs
