In all those instances it seems as though the selling club just named a price and United paid it. He's haggling over Pedro despite the fact that he has a buy out clause of 30million euros (or 100million euros if you are UiR and ITK).
If he haggles and messes up that transfer, I will personally go and ....sort him out. He should have learnt from the Moyes era fiasco. United do not do bargains and will never ever win in a negotiating argument. United pay 25% premium on all their transfers...FFS!! It is not as if we ****ing need the money. It is the GGs and I for one will be happy to squander it ...

So far have they not looked like bargains. The asking price just so happened to be a bargain imp. Schneiderlin was £24million, for one of the leagues best midfielders.... Thats the exact phrase I used 2 years ago when Woody and Moyes the comedy duo were trying to get bargains for United. I just hope the lessons have been learnt.
You could be right. The problem with that theory is that there isn't a whiff of Barca asking for anything more than the release clause. Their president, the player, the spanish media, the so-called ITK like Balague and Hunter. ALL are saying the same thing. He wants to leave. Barca want 30m Euros. ALL are saying the sticking point is over United splitting that into 25m Euros up front and 5m add ons. NOT ONE is saying the deal is being delayed by Barca for reasons such as buy back clauses etc. I don't believe everything rumoured btw but the weight of information seems to point in one direction only.
