When Hull is nearer to Greater London than it is to the Scottish border I think calling Hull north-east is pushing it a bit. Might as well call West Brom a London team!
WHU I can´t see going down. Sunderland (the way they are playing at the mo), Norwich & B´mouth for me. As long as it´s not Leicester I can´t say I giva a ****.
Watford are more a London club than Hull is a north east one. I hear they are going to shut the Underground station?
Chelsea are only out of the relegation zone on alphabetical order. Must win game for them against West Brom next week. A good old fashioned relegation six pointer.
Is it deliberate to confuse people with your username? If you expanded the R to Ranger it might be clearer? Or do you revel in the misdirection?
It keeps me warm at night. The nickname of the club, at least to its fans, has always been the Rs. That's all there is to it to me. I did consider the username Bushey_Hoop but that sounds painful
Koeman will get found out as a manager but whether he ****s up to the point they flirt with relegation? not sure. Swansea are a more talented team, Monk is a manager that is improving each season , while Stoke are improving. I would back both sides to finish ahead of saints, with Everton back in the big 7.
Koeman to get found out? 15 years as a successful manager and more as an assistant with mostly huge clubs suggests not. Did pretty bloody well with a team expected to go down last season having sold many of its perceived stars, most of whom did very little at their new clubs. If anyone looks ripe for being found out, it's your man Poch, his predecessor.
Dont be silly mate, he has spent the majority of his career in the dutch league, which is sub standard. He done ok at Valencia to win a cup but nearly relegated them (2 points off relegation), a team which had David Silva, among other great talents. But as for Poch, said this from day one and this season, he will get found out, this isn't about rating (or not rating) managers based on who I support, I'm simply telling you that Koeman will get found out in this league (as will Poch).
Oops. I read his honours as a player as those he got as a manager. Not as successful as I thought. Still, he's done well in Holland for more than one club and at Valencia it seems he took over from a sacked manager in the November so keeping them in the league and winning a cup isn't dreadful. I guess it would be akin to taking over a team like Everton after a poor start and finishing 15th with the FA Cup. Not outrageously amazing but certainly not a disaster. Obviously unproven in England but last season was a very impressive start.
Fantastic player, would never question him as a player, you seen his stats from Barca? I knew he was a threat going forward from watching him as a kid, but never realised he was that prolific in the league. Main memories are from his international performances for Netherlands.
I'd rather we had Koeman than Poch; I said that at the time we started to make moves for Poch. Between the two, I reckon Koeman has more technical ability, and the greater winning mentality.
