    Lallana was 25 million so not sure cost is a deciding factor here..Match fitness more likely.

    Look, I dont rate Lallana much at the mo but I'll let him play a few minutes before judging tonight...

    Hopefully Lallana will prove to be of some use today, Don't really want us to rush firmino's introduction to the team if we can help it, particularly since he's likely to not be picked in his preferred position when he does come in.

    Not gonna lie, I'm looking for some positive signs from Liverpool tonight performance-wise - something to suggest that Benteke and Coutinho can play together without negatively affecting each others' natural game, and something in the way of playing in a manner that provides decent service for Benteke.

    Benteke showed a lot of will and desire against Stoke. Looking for him to show some ability to match that desire tonight. Of course that means we need to supply him because not a player that creates himself.

    Milner will hopefully be as tenacious again but will need to watch his card count this season if he plays like he did last game.

    Another solid performance from our fullbacks should cement them in the team for now.

    I think lallana has potential to be a great player but he needs a system that allows him to play, in our set up he needs the midfield three behind him.

    It is frustrating as we didn't really click last week but Can simply isn't fit enough to start so we have to live with that - Rodgers interview today shows how highly he rates this lad.

    Lallana will play well I think, his type of game this one

    I understand not starting Firmino.

    Can may have fitness issues.

    But there is no excuse to not have Sakho on the bench, let alone not starting.

    Rodgers said he has told everyone where they stand this year.

    I think it was last week they said that Lucas wasn't transfer listed but was available to go if wanted to. I guess he's saying you can stay and fight but if you want out I won't stand in your way which is fair enough.
