We were singing 'if Sammy scores we're on the pitch' and a lot stuck to their word by running on. It was quite funny and it calmed down, but then Darlo fans came over, Newcastle fans started fighting with them and they were all lead away.

eek!

Of course all big clubs behave with dignity and decorum eh?

"if shola scores, we're on the pitch" is a chant that gets regular airing by us. It's sang as a light hearted jibe at him because we all know he is ****e. However, no one ever acts on it, it's just a daft chant. His brother came on tonight so the inevitable chant went up. I wasn't there but I'm guessing with darlo just being down the road, a load of "so called" fans would of went who don't normally travel to away games, if any games at all. Friday night, pissed up. What more can you say. Every club has it's idiot element whether they be young uns or older people. See the clampit who pushed Steve harper over if you need any proof of it. All fans can't be lumped under one banner.

(TITLE: It's going well, eh? fnarr, fnarr)

1. You are beaten to the draw for many of your transfer targets

2. You lose one of your more effective players to a fizzypop team

3. You cannot get some of your prize thugs into the USA

4. You instigate a pitch invasion at a local friendly match

5. Finally, you abuse your altruistic, kind-hearted managing director and buddy of Fat Mike

Good going ...confidence must be sky high! <laugh>

You posted it to be a wum. That's probably the reason.

Well summed up mate & probably the nail on the head. Expect flack like from others but well said..

Isn't it a disgrace, at the last derby at the SOL we were castigated by the whole country because one teenage hillbilly from out in the sticks somewhere had a rush of blood to the head and ran on and touched the goalie.
Last night around 500 "little angels" in orange, black and white invade the pich during a friendly match (?? )and nothing whatsover is done about it - typical, one rule for us and another for them up the road.
I hear that we are fencing them all in when they come down to the SOL next month, only right as well.
Also they should be docked points before the season starts.

Are you for real. The papers haven't even went to print yet. Wait until tomorrow. There will be heavy repercussions fo this. You seem to have a real naive view of football supporters of your rival club.

Geordie fans fighting with Darlo

I'm not to sure how many of these Skunk thugs were actually Geordies, but the sheer scale of this trouble must surely lead to some kind of punishment.

Well from what i can gather, 500 (sun is saying 2000+ but it cant have been anymore than 500 from the pics) ran onto the pitch after sammy scored, well you are not allowed to do that, and its incitement to the other supporters, now, darlo fans shouldnt have come after your fans either, but you went on first and they didnt know what you were going to do, for all they knew you were coming over to give them a right kicking, so they headed you off at the pass.

I dont think you will get points deducted, or have to play behind closed doors, probably just a token fine, but imo it was the 500 fans fault for running onto the pitch in the first place.
