We can take more than enough points if we are up for it.

 

I am expecting this to be a tough game though. It's not going to be a walk in the park like most seem to be predicting.

Exactly. We have to play every team twice - so get some tough one's out the way early, I'm not worried at all. If anything it's a positive imo.

Nine points from block one allows for no points from the Arsenal game. Hoping for at least a ten point block though.

Generally agree with this but there are a hell of a lot of Liverpool fans wanting to see Brod gone. They're even moaning when we win (see last week) so imagine what they'll be like when we lose! Better if we can accumulate some points first.

**** the haters. Overall Rodgers has done a good job. If you look at the team he took over, to our potential starting 11 it speaks volumes. It's hardly his fault the rest of the league has got better along with us!!

 

If you can sustain that level of points for thirty eight games, sure

 

It's really hard to say. If we judge him on on -field performances it's been a mixed bag:

Half a season of crap followed by a season and a half of bliss followed by a season of crap. If he can put in another season and a half of bliss everyone will be happy.

By and large, transfers have been a complete joke though, but none of us know how much of that is brods fault and how much is the committee's fault.

If Rodgers is mostly to blame for xfer disasters sack him. If it wasn't his fault, keep him.

 

Fair points, some fans refuse to give any kind of credit for anything which is unfair.

I think some assume we had masch, Alonso, prime Gerrard and Torres when he took over - our squad was ****ing awful in reality and right now it doesn't look so bad - this isn't 10 years ago when top 4 was a given with no city billions, it's got much much harder

If players are not fit then accept and deal with it. We do not want them getting injured further down the line as a result of them being pushed to early.
