Really never bothered me never will , part of the excitement goes when you reach the top league , it was more fun climbing the divisions and hoping for a good cup draw , but each to there own !
Of course I do but the premier league isn't all that , your basically just feeder teams for the bigger boys , any of your players that are a success get picked off plus it's not much fun when your fighting a relegation battle , how was you enjoying it for three quarters of last season ?
Fettis - we are Leicester fans. We are used to either fighting for promotion or fighting relegation. I enjoyed most moments of it. I have always looked for my team to give everything that they can within the limits of their talent. Last season, they pretty much did that most of the time. Despite the fact that we were bottom for most of the season, it was still, strangely, a great experience.
I didn't enjoy the long period we went without winning, who would? But, the last 9 games were absolutely fantastic, and the atmosphere at games, the intensity of our performances that all culminated in our survival more than made up for it.
Every club aspires to be in the Premier League. Hull albeit have survived twice they avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth or been relegated every season here. We have achieved a lot of success in the premier league during our time in it and last season was something magical
Yeah, I guess if you have absolutely no chance of establishing yourself as a Premier League team, then constant relegation battles must get quite boring
One thing Ranieri said and did which deserves a mention was when we was under pressure during the 2nd half the players naturally dropped deeper Ranieri said he will change that but it has to be done slowly and said at this stage it was better to help them with it rather then pushing them up. That explains why we took Okazaki off for Kante to shore up the midfield
