Its insane, essentially Mourinho is blaming the other team for winning the game. Not saying his team were outplayed or the opposition were better on the day, but actually blaming the other team for trying and succeeding to win the game.

 

To be fair, he did say it was an intelligent change bringing off sterling and brining on demichelles, the type of change he himself would have made.

Manchester City 3-0 Chelsea: Jose Mourinho says score line was 'fake'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says that the 3-0 loss to Manchester City is a "fake result" adding that his side were the better team in the second half.
Sergio Aguero gave the hosts the lead in the first half with Chelsea conceding two more in the second period with Vincent Kompany and Fernandinho capping off a dominant display by the hosts.
The last time Chelsea failed to win their first two Premier League games was in 1998-99.

 

I think Costa contributed a lot at athletico and could do what Aguero did, obviously not to Agueros standard but who else can bar ronaldo messi and suarez. I think he's gone past the point with his injuries like falcao. He seems leggy nowadays and not as strong as when he was at Atletico. Just like Torres after he had 1 injury too many when he played through the injuries.

Even though he didn't do much vs city he still created a guilt edge chance that hazard fluffed when he turned sagna

It's not just the game today and not an anti-chelsea bias. I personally think Drogba was the best striker in the world at his peak. Maybe as a result I've set the bar too high for Costa but I've been unimpressed. I knew he'd have to adapt bcos he wouldnt get the space in front of him he did at Atletico but I expected him to rule defenders. Agree about the injuries and he may yet recover only being 25/26 so time will tell.
