Well..is it? I mean everton are everton, they've been strong for 10 years now, sort of best of the rest. Southhampton have had a good couple of seasons... now they're getting thrashed... might put our performance of last week into perspective too.

That said, all pundits seem to think Swansea will crush us later in the afternoon, after their showing at Chelsea... we shall see.

I have a feeling the ball is much better this season. Last seasons ball was terrible, it was hard to score. This ball flies more, hence more goals. Opening weekend already had a **** ton of goals if anyone noticed.

Not a good time to be a defender. Or goalkeeper for that matter.

I initially thought Southampton would be a bit of a litmus test to see how much difference our summer signings could make. I thought 2-2 was a fair result against a 'strong' team, but looking at them playing against Everton, I'm not sure how much of an achievement that was.

I agree. We are sluggish all over the picth and other teams all of them look better than we do. I still blame our shambles of a pre season. I mean our defence if you can call it that didn't play together once. Feck me colo the clown didn't play at all and he's our leader/captain.

    Palace now 2-1 down.
Pardew putting on 3 left backs to take the game to them.

Unfortunately i think we simply have **** players mate. Its high time people realised it rather than us blaming pardew or now mclaren. The fact it we started with two additions which was nowhere near big enough of a change nor is 3.... We needed to replace another 3 in colback, anita and haidara not to mention replacing sissoko at rw.

The main concern is even if austin rolan and thauvin come in we will surly have sone of best players not playing and colback, anita and haidara still playing.

If Pards would only buy Willo from us, Palace would be invincible.

Come on Pards, you know it's true. Do you want to be successful or not?
There's not long left in the transfer window you know.

I hope you are not suggesting that Pardew can run a set piece and it was just the players here. People have had their balls cut off for less in these parts.

All joking aside, it is sickening watching Palace's set pieces. Really well drilled and they have big imposing types who attack the ball. Watching us again on Saturday, nowt has changed has it. Has this 9ft german we've been linked with managed many goals from set pieces? Of course we still need someone to put the ball in, I'm not sure Gini is that man.

Come on mate, your enthusiasm and positivity can't have run dry already? I've heard we are signing another 3 players this week and Willo, Gouffran will both leave. Riviere is being melted down into SD mugs as we speak also.
