Some good comments above. I tend to keep off of forums until I have thought about what I have seen, in a game.
Last week, Targett was heavily criticised for being out of position, with Newcastle getting in behind him, yet the same posters hadn't noticed he was only out of position as a result of joining the attack and someone else conceding easy possession. That "someone else" escaped criticism, owing to those people having goldfish tendencies. They can't recall what happened a few seconds earlier, that lead to the problem they are criticising.
I started a Row Z thread last week, because I felt Newcastle's first goal may not have been conceded, had Yoshida hit the ball into the crowd. His attempt to swivel and clear upfield, with his weaker foot, led to the corner from which they scored, yet some fans think the fault for the goal lay with Stekenlenburg, because the diverted cross beat him.
Targett was blamed for poor marking, for the Espanyol goal, yet analysis shows that as a result of clearing a corner, Caulker (who was playing left CB at the time), found himself on the right edge of our box, with Fonte just inside him. This left Targett with two players to look after. He tried to get to the ball that was aimed at their first player, which left the other player free.
The goal was more the fault of an experimental line up, that only had Wanyama as a defensive midfielder.
Some will disagree with this, but that is what makes football so interesting.

I don't think it's just that some people understand football less. A few people like to moan as they see it as a way to vent after having a hard week of work. A person will also always have a favorite. Who they see doing nothing wrong. They will also have a player they kind of dislike (due to type of play etc) who can do know right.

End of the day I don't mind the moaning at players. As long as the moaning doesn't mean the person isn't shouting abuse at a player on the pitch. If they moan to themself at the game or vent their feelings in here etc then it's fine. It's only their opinion and they are free to express it. If every one had the same opinion the world would being boring as ****.

This thread has basically turned into people disliking another persons opinion because their opinion is different. :emoticon-0110-tongu

Don't you mean "subjective" ? (If you're talking about differing opinions).

    A) Why is her sex life relevant? B) How much of a weasel of a man do you have to be to sell a story on the fact you dated her for 15 months?

That's disgraceful. But then it is Lee Mason. Letting him off once is bad enough, but twice?

Even the player knew it was a second yellow (well, a third yellow really).
