Was asked outright if he was committed to the club and he danced around the question with generic statements about wanting to be back in the Premier League - avoided saying it would be with City.

 

Dawson said how he wanted to play in the PL and the club wanted to play in the PL and he hopes "we" are up there come the end of the season.

That's more or less what he said. It can be interpreted both ways I guess.

 

hope we don't get left high and dry with last minute buy out clause transfers as the window shuts.

 

Does anyone seriously expect Dawson to stay? What do you expect him to say? I think we can count ourselves lucky we've hd his services for these first two games, it would be a miracle if he's still here come November 27th.

I think Bruce and Mcgregor must get a long because It clearly has never been an easy decision dropping him to the bench but there's a point where even Mcgregor has to realise that there are consequences.
